Sasha is an amazing female shar-pei that acts much younger than her age. She would love an active household that includes her in activities. Sasha is very smart and takes direction/correction well. She has been fostering as an only dog, but can be good with other dogs after appropriate slow introductions and does best with dogs that are neutral or not reactive. She has been on overnights to a friends' home with small dogs, but has had less exposure to larger dogs. This girl loves to please! She loves toys, walks on a leash/harness (but could use some more practice), knows "sit", "stay", "heel" and "come", and is potty trained. She is not used to being crated at her current foster home. She may briefly barky at strangers, but warms up quickly, particularly in her foster home. Strange dogs get an equally barky reception, but with guidance and time, we believe she's totally up for a four-legged bff, but would be just as happy or happier (?) as an only dog, getting all of your attention and love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Sasha loves attention and hanging out in the yard. (She would really like a yard.) She will chase the occasional squirrel and loves to bird watch. She has a lot of energy and would love regular walks and fun. But she can be a snuggly couch companion, giving eskimo kisses, too! This girl is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home without small toddlers, but has been on sleepovers with kids aged 7+ without issue. Did we mention she is also drop dead gorgeous??? Meiko was found as a stray in Northern California and landed in a shelter. He was underweight, already neutered and his age is estimated at 6 years (possibly younger). Meiko is good with other dogs and is friendly with people (even the vets!). He is possessive of his favorite bone (which he can spend hours gnawing on) or food bowl and will give you a little growl if he thinks you will take it, so he probably shouldn't be around young kids (who tend to wave crackers/food in their hands and may want to borrow a yummy dog bone without asking). This boy loves food and cuddles, adores being outside, but if given the choice will follow you around or hang inside with you. He is independent, would be fine in a home where people work/out of home. He will give a little bark in the morning to let you know it's time for outside potty trip. Liberty is a gorgeous 2 year old female shar-pei. She landed in a shelter as a stray, and was kenneled with other dogs. She seems to love to cuddle with stuffed animals, and loves her humans. She is crate trained and knows how to use a dog door. We are working on learning some basic commands. Liberty is good with medium and large dogs after a good slow intro. She is fostering with several other dogs and does great. Liberty is not great with new dogs or small dogs. She is not a companion to go to dog parks, coffee shops or even walks where lots of other unfamiliar dogs are present. She will do best in a home without new dogs in/out, a nice yard to hang out in and a family that doesn't expect her to go out family adventures or outings. Liberty weighs about 41 pounds, and is spayed and had entropion eyelid surfery. She is up to date on vaccines and microchipped and is ready for adoption. Tux is stunning in person and he rides beautifully in the car and is dog friendly with other friendly dogs. He loves having another playful puppy in the home to play with and he bonded with his former foster sister, who was a senior, and didn’t want to play much with Tux, but he still loved her and wanted to be with her. Tux is an absolute love and is a sensitive soul who is so deserving of his happily ever after. He loves going on walks and he is crate trained and likes seeing his loved ones, so his previous foster crates him in the master bedroom.
