Story
Meet Hank We rescued Hank when we were driving home and spotted a black puppy running back and forth between traffic. We pulled over and he jumped right in our car. We scanned for a chip- nothing. We had Hank vaccinated and he will be microchipped and neutered thru our rescue! His neuter will be covered by Our rescue when he is 6-8 months old. If you're interested in adopting Hank please send your inquiry to info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org and we will send you an application. Our vets best guess is that he is about 4 months. He loves other dogs and children. Very calm and loving boy who will make someone or a family very happy! We do not transport animals. We don't accept phone calls initially. Thanks for your interest in Hank! Please do not apply to adopt Hank if you are going out of town for your summer vacation. We do not hold animals for anyone. Please only apply if you’re available to meet him and adopt him presently.

Story
Teddy Bear is an adorable 11-ish-week-old Sharpei/Chow mix! He is about 25 lbs, a sweet, loving pup who is eager to learn and loves playing fetch!! Teddy’s life began in uncertainty, found with his siblings in a fast-food restaurants parking lot. A good Samaritan saw these tiny, defenseless puppies and brought them to the shelter, hoping they’d find safety. And they did, at first—all of the pups were quickly adopted at 8 weeks old, and Teddy was, too. But within just 24 hours, his teenaged adopter returned him to the shelter. Why? For simply being a baby—Teddy cried his first night away from his siblings and needed help with potty training. He was handed back as though he were such an inconvenience. (Fast forward to now, he is being fostered by a dog trainer who says he is the best puppy she’s ever worked with!) In shelters returned dogs often go to the top of the list for euthanasia. After being abandoned once, Teddy faced a second abandonment that could have ended his life. Thats when we stepped in! Now that Teddy is finally safe with a loving foster family, he has the freedom to show us how pawesome he really is! He is loving with all people, dogs, and cats! Teddy LOVES to learn! He already knows commands like "sit," "down," “place,” "come," and more! Teddy is working on crate training, and leash manners. We are so thankful his foster stepped up to give Teddy a stable environment to grow, learn, and build confidence in… now all he needs is his true furever family who will love him unconditionally, who won’t give up on him for simply being a puppy who needs guidance and care. After all, dogs only know what we teach them! Make Teddy Bear's dreams come true and apply to take him home furever!! SamsonsSanctuary.org

Story
Luna is an approximately one-year-old Corgi/Shar Pei mix who is sweet, smart, friendly and playful, She and her siblings (see Peanut) were rescued from a homeless encampment as puppies (her parents had been used for breeding). She currently lives at an in-home boarding with dogs of all sizes and breed and she gets along with all of them wonderfully. She even gets a few of the older ones to play around with her. She has been at busy adoption events where she is calm and friendly, and not phased by kids running around, dogs barking, or people fawning all over her. She is the perfect family dog. Luna is in the Los Angeles area.

Story
This beautiful guy is Chili who was rescued in the knick of time from the Downey shelter in LA.Chili is very sweet and playful, but can easily get over stimulated and gets very excited when meeting a new person and starts jumping. Chili is in need of someone who can give him the exercise he needs and can handle his very exuberant personality. Therefore we are looking for a very calm, alpha human who can be a leader to him, preferably with Boxer experience. We are looking for a home for him where he will be the only pet with no children. Once he knows you Chili is actually is a very loving and affectionate guy who loves to play, really likes toys and loves to play fetch. He walks on the leash like an angel but gets excited when he seed other dogs, but gets along fine when meeting them. Chili is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all routine vaccinations. He is about 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds. If you would like to speak further about Chili, or if you think you are the right person for him and would like to meet him please contact us at pawparent@gmail.com or call 661-724-0642  November 4, 2024, 4:07 pm
