HI - I'M JULIE! I'm about 8-9 years young and a loving girl! I've been waiting for awhile for a home - not sure why nobody wants me, because I'm super cute. I only weigh about 52 lbs and am an affectionate snuggle bug. I prefer to be the only dog in the home and prefer people to dogs so would do best with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm not a fan of cats either, so no kitties for me please. I am in good athletic shape and still love to go for walks and hikes. And I love the water! I also love the fresh air and the feeling of the sunshine on my back. Could you give me a chance and foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Greetings, my name is Lulu!  I'm a 1 year old, spayed female, Chinese Sharpei Mix. I'm a dignified and independent young lady waiting patiently for my forever family. I can sometimes come off as a little aloof, but once I bond, I am a deeply devoted diva.  I'm noble like a lion, adorable like a teddy bear, and independent like a cat.  What can you expect from a breed that once held court with Chinese royalty?  Despite my history of imperial admirers, I don't care to be fussed over too much. Even though I'm quite dignified I absolutely have a goofy side, put me in a yard and I love to run zoomies and play fetch! If you have a dog already in your home, I would need to meet them before joining your family. I have a unique personality, but you'll find me to be a fiercely loyal companion and a true treasure for your household. Come and ask to meet me today, Genevieve! ID# A843692.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor.
