SkatShar Pei mix1 year/Male24-D217Intake: July 26, 2024For being just 1 year, Skat has had a time of it, he’s here, there, and everywhere and ended up at the shelter. We are sure none of it was his fault because he is just that sweet and of course puppyish. He’s a Shar Pei mix, I’m no expert but I would say the mix is Rottweiler, so I guess he would be a Rott Pei. If you or someone you know loves the Shar Pei breed, come meet this handsome fella. Skat will need to meet all family members, including resident dogs, to make sure everyone gets along before going home. He’s still in puppy mode and is looking for a family to put the time into raising him, with plenty of exercise, play time, training, and socialization. Skat can’t wait to meet you! Pet viewing hours are Monday-Friday, Noon-7pm and Saturday, Noon-4pm.

Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. I want a real family who will love me for all that I am, and I am A LOT!! Look me up and let's run off into the sunset :) ADOPT... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE AND MY PUPPIES' LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!!! Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! If you have ever wanted to adopt a rescued dog that NEEDS the best home, WE ARE WAITING RIGHT HERE!!! Please watch our video, empathize with us AND our rescue family and ADOPT!!!! **Crinkle, crinkle, CRINKLE*** ever tried to be quiet in a theater while opening your candy bag?? Well, that is my LIFE!!! I have wrinkles and creases and crinkles EVERYWHERE!!! But, hey! I am a Shar Pei, so what else do I do?? (i mean besides look so so cute?) Yes, can you believe a purebred Shar Pei tied to a post... only in South Texas :(, that was 3 years ago.... But, I am one of the lucky ones! I was even adopted 3 years ago!!! However, my luck ran out when my owner died and his kids couldn't keep me.... SO here I am again, pleading for the right family to adopt me!!! I want to find a home who loves me and won't mind a little **crinkle, crinkle** in the middle of the night. I am only about 5 yrs old and 40#. I can't wait to be the queen of your home. Must know about my breed, we are great great dogs but have our little idiosyncrasies. Francis had been a stray for several weeks. He was very scared at first and kept running away from help. But finally, he was caught and brought to safety! He appears to have been hit by a car and is very thin. But he is the sweetest and happiest boy! He is loving getting to live in a house with people who care about him! Francis is just grateful to be alive! He is good with kids, and interested in other dogs. He is learning how to play with toys and be a happy dog! This boy has a long road to recovery but he will make it! Edward is a handsome boxer mix, with striking brindle coloring whose estimated date of birth is 1/27/2022 and on 11/15/04 he weighed in at 65 pounds. He is a sweet boy with a generally calm nature and has a playful side, too. He came to us as a stray, so we don't know a lot about his background. We do know however, that he's wild about fetch! He will play until he tires himself out or your arm falls off! Come and play some fetch with Edward today and give him the loving home he deserves!Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
