I found June a year ago, saving her from the streets and starvation and giving her the love and care she needed to thrive. Now healthy and strong, she is looking for the perfect forever home. I travel often and have lost access to a familiar and loving pet sitter (my daughter, who moved to Japan). June would benefit from a more stable home life than I can provide moving forward. June is a sweet 35-pound Shar Pei mix (3 years old). She is spayed, current on shots, house-trained, and great with other dogs (LOVES the dog park!). June is a gentle soul who is partial to females. While cautious around large men, she warms up with time and patience. She is gentle around kids and seems disinterested in cats. June is not destructive, does not beg, and can be left alone for up to 8 hours (though would be better suited in a home where someone is 'around' more often). This pup is such a good girl with ears that make you 'feel' things! She deserves a nurturing home where she'll be cherished!

I'm a 3-year-old Sharpei mix. I weigh about 65 pounds. As many Sharpeis do, I had some issues with my eye lids and had surgery to correct that while in rescue. All went very well and I'm fully healed and ready to see the world. I'm a wonderful dog! I'm happy-go-lucky, loving and very loyal. I'm house trained and have been a joy to be around in my foster home. I'm very well behaved. I'm athletic and strong and would love to go on hikes and walks with you. Camping also sounds like fun! I think I would be happiest as your one and only pet. I'm neutered, vet checked, current on my vaccines, licensed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $300. Meet Joss, Joss is 3 years old, shar-pei mix, she is very sweet and curious, she is timid/shy when you first meet her, have some patience and she will be your best friend. She went out on a day trip with a volunteer friend, she walks amazing on leash, she always took her treats gently, and has no reaction to other dogs or people riding bikes, or joggers, she loves to give you kisses once she warms up. She enjoyed going hiking. She enjoys playing with toys and her doggie friends at the boarding facility she is currently living at until her furever family comes. Not sure how she is with cats, children 10+ recommended since she is a bit timid/shy at first. Joss is microchipped, up to date on her vaccines and spayed Joss is so gentle, she would love a home that will allw them to flourish.
