Story
Thomas came to the rescue from the county shelter’s euthanasia list in August of 2023. He was in a severely neglected state to the point where he couldn’t even stand up because he was so underweight and in so much pain. Worse, he was also battling severe pneumonia due to having such a weakened immune system. Under the care of our medical team, poor Thomas underwent an MRI, CT scan, additional bloodwork and x-rays. After all the diagnostics he was diagnosed with rampant valley fever that had taken over his body and fungal osteomyelitis that was attacking his bones as a result. Thankfully, this condition is entirely treatable but has resulted in a longer road to recovery for Thomas. He has overcome his pneumonia and put on much-needed weight. And while his body is still fighting the Valley Fever, Thomas’ quality of life has only continued to improve. He adores his foster home. He now loves to lay between his foster parents’ legs and even will wear pajamas to bed! He also enjoys the company of other dogs and cats, though he definitely wants to spend time snuggling with his people the most. He is house-trained, walks well on a leash and has started learning basic obedience. Thomas’ ideal home would be a quieter household without children and with someone home often who wouldn’t mind going on shorter strolls as he is a bit slower and stiffer when he moves. His long term care will include ongoing Valley Fever treatment. His Valley Fever is not contagious to other humans or pets, but he will need a family committed to continuing his medications and 3-6 month monitoring. We will provide these rechecks and cover the cost of the medications through our foster-to-adopt program. While Thomas loves being in his current foster home, he would love even more to find his forever family. Apply to meet Thomas, the special little engine that could and DID, who is now ready to thrive with a family to call his own! To apply: https://lovethemallrescue.org/thomas-1

Story
Three years ago, Munch was found as a puppy on the streets and ended up in the shelter system early on. After being adopted for years, he was attacked in his last home by larger dogs, which resulted in him being returned to the shelter. After eight long months of being overlooked in the shelter, he was put on the euthanasia list. We could't let his story end there, so we stepped up to save him. Since being with his foster, Munch has finally gotten a taste of the good life. He has received [and shown] so much love! He is energetic, eager to please and curious about everything. He will happily ride in the car with you or be a couch potato snuggle bug while you watch your favorite movie. This boy is such the perfect gentleman in the home! Munch is crate- and potty-trained and likes a quieter household with a consistent routine. He loves to play with toys and people. He is food-motivated, responds well to redirection and loves all the training he's working on. He's intimidated by larger dogs and often scared of loud noises, though he's learning that everything is okay. His ideal home would be one without young children, and if he has any doggy siblings, they need to be smaller than him. Munch is an affectionate, silly goof of a dog who just wants to enjoy a life by your side - whether that’s getting pets on the couch or playing a game of fetch! His adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip and neuter. Apply below to meet this playful pup who will surely win you over with his big grin and happy wiggle! Story
Lobo is blooming! This is the boy you adopt if your pups have been asking for a friend. He adores other dogs. He will run and wrestle all day long. He will make you laugh with his antics. He loves to help with the gardening and will find all the sticks in the yard to pick up and carry around and will pull some tasty leaves off plants at his level So how about the downside of Lobo? Well he came to us from a breeder in Oklahoma that was shut down by the humane society. He is just a baby still but he had minimal contact with kind people early in his life. He is still scared to be pet but is coming up for some chin scratches especially if food is involved. He is finally taking treats from his foster mom and dad's hands which is a huge milestone for this guy.  He easily shares his toys and food with other dogs. We have discovered he loves going for walks but walks better if he has a buddy with him. He has the most gorgeous merle brush coat ( I just wish he loved us petting him) Lobo sleeps on a dog bed in his foster's bedroom. He has never tried to get up on the bed as much as we beg him too! He does love to sleep on the sofa especially when no one is watching. This boy has finally had his eyes done and a mini brow lift and OMG he can see. He has the most gorgeous green brown eyes. Lobo's forever home will definitely need someone who is patient and will give him time to come around. He will need another dog or 10 :) in his forever home who love to play. He is dog door trained so a yard would be a huge plus.  He loves riding in the car and has become a huge fan of hiking with his foster family. We truly believe the key to winning his guy over is consistent walks or hikes and LOTS of treats!        January 4, 2025, 6:00 pm

Story
This tiny guy might be the cutest thing ever. He was purchased from a Shar Pei breeder in AZ. He was living with 4 children. He spent most of his time outdoors but this guy is ready to jump right up on the couch and snuggle! He is great with the other dogs in the home. He is already initiating play. Clearly, this guy will not need entropion surgery. He has the most gorgeous eyes! His original name was Bear, but does not seem to be responding to that, so the foster has settled on Jagger. Jagger is a perfect example of a bone mouth Shar pei! Even down to the perfect curly-Q tail. This little guy had his first bath and by the looks of the water it might have been the first ever. Now that he is all shiny and clean he is prancing around the house. He was an absolute gentleman in the tub. He sat patiently waiting while his foster mom went and got a towel to dry him off. Mr Smarty pants has already mastered sit in his first day of training! He will do just about anything for cheese. For all you Simpsons fans we are pretty sure Santa’s Little Helper looks like a larger version of Jagger!February 2, 2025, 11:38 am

Story
Hersh is coming our way from New Mexico. He was found as a stray and on the wrong side of porcupine. Poor guy had quills all of his face and chest. Ouch!! This guy is so sweet! He is fabulous with other dogs. His foster siblings are so excited for his neuter appt as Hersh has been a bit too exuberant in his affection for his new friends! He has met all the small children and has been deemed kid approved. He rides great in the car and has beautiful house manners. He is working on his crates skills and spent the night like a champ in his crate. We have seen no food issues and he may actually like food more than he does his foster siblings.  Our boy has been neutered and had lower lid entropion. He looks even more gorgeous and his foster brothers are also quite excited for his neuter. His foster mom gives this guy a 10/10 score on personality and states he literally could live in any home! Hersh is fostering in Phoenix, Arizona.  January 30, 2025, 1:14 pm

Story
Jersey is about 35 pounds and she came in with Willow. She is available separately or together, but would do best with other dogs in the home. Jersey was raised with kids and other dogs, is a beautiful fawn brushcoat. She is nervous around new people for about 10 minutes and then allows petting and relaxes. She is fostering in Tucson, AZ. We will post more info as we learn it.January 29, 2025, 7:52 pm
