Story
Meet Mother Gothel, a striking grey-and-white domestic shorthair with a regal presence that commands attention. Much like her Tangled namesake, she enjoys observing the world from a comfortable distance, quietly assessing her surroundings with keen intelligence. For now, she’d rather people-watch than dive into cuddles—but don’t be fooled; beneath her reserved exterior lies the potential for a truly heartwarming bond.
Mother Gothel needs someone willing to earn her trust, giving her the time and patience to let her guard down. With consistent care, she’s sure to transform into the ultimate snuggle buddy—because let’s face it, every Gothel has a soft side waiting to be revealed.
If you’re ready to take the time to show this independent beauty that the world isn’t such a scary place, Mother Gothel could become your most loyal and loving companion. After all, every great story deserves a happily-ever-after, and with her, you’ll find it’s worth the wait.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
