Story
Date of birth: January 18, 2020 Microchipped Hello, my name is Muskie and I am an adorable, sweet, and well behaved boy who loves to hang out with my humans. I am not a lap cat but will rest beside you with my paws on you for hours. I love pets and affection! I am a low energy boy but have been known to knock around a spring toy or two. I can be really goofy! I kind of look like an otter when I stand on my hind legs and it makes my foster mom laugh. I prefer the quiet, laid back life. Give me a cat tree by a window and a couch to rest beside you on and I am golden. I am unsure of other cats but not aggressive. I generally prefer to keep to myself when my foster brother comes around and I hiss and refuse if he wants to play. My foster mom insists I share this note from my doctor. Embarrassing, I know, but I promise it won't affect how much I will love you! Muskie has been diagnosed with a grade II heart murmur. A heart murmur is caused by turbulent blood flow within the heart and is a result of an underlying condition such as stress, or a structural problem within the heart. Some heart murmurs in cats can be benign, requiring no treatment, while others may require future interventions such as medication or a specialized diet. It is important to have your cat regularly monitored by a veterinarian.

Story
Jessy is a beautiful timid young female kitten. She is a gorgeous silver grey colour, similar to a Russian blue. Jessy loves climbing cat trees, catching crinkle balls and chasing games where she chases strings or the wire with the feather tirelessly. Bring out a wand and she’s like Tomb Raider jumping and zooming around! Jessy is so energetic I like to tire her out by letting her chase the feather up and down the cat climber and other furniture. When she’s not playing she enjoys cuddling with the other kittens. Jessy looks forward to breakfast and dinner the most! She is always the first one to run enthusiastically to me when I arrive with dinner. She also loves to run up and sniff your hand.Jessy is very shy and sensitive. Unfortunately, as a feral kitten she was accidentally traumatized by chasing her to go to the vet. For months Jessie didn’t like to be touched, but with the advice of a cat behavioural therapist I have training her every day and she has made lots of progress in a short time! Now sometimes I can pet Jessy - she is very soft and gentle. She melts my heart. For many months Jessy never purred but recently Jessy has purred when I pet her (but it’s still an event!). It’s very important not to rush Jessy and mainly let her take initiative to be touched but I use my intuition and occasionally pet her. She now lets me lift her up and she’s interested. Some moments she’ll lean into my hands welcoming being touched other moments she pulls back and scampers off and hides. The other day Jessy snuck up and cuddled against me and let me pet her when I was cleaning the kitty litter. What a surprise! She’s definitely making huge progress. Reaching for her too much can trigger a running away response which thankfully is slowly diminishing. Jessy would thrive with someone patient and loving who enjoys playing and already has a friendly warm cat Jessy can be friends with. She would be best where there is no loud music, dogs or young children as she can become frightened. She is improving every day and enjoys cuddling with her siblings and her Mum Joan. It may take a while to win her over but each breakthrough is so rewarding! Jessy’s Mum is also available for adoption and she loves her Joan very much and sleeps with her sibling kittens. She eats a can of fancy feast pate for breakfast and one and half to two cans of fancy feast for dinner. She also likes Friskies pate, fancy feast Flo

Story
Meet Jet. He is a devilishly handsome house panther. His favorite hobbies are petting, being praised and treats. He also excels at zoomies. He prides himself an his glossy fur and insists (with gentle head butts but if you are slow - a swat) on being brushed often. However, if he shows you his tummy and acts like he’d liked to get a tummy scratch- beware: it is trap! You’ve been warned. He has good litter box habits and has no special food or health restrictions. He is fine at occupying himself with his toys or just looking out the window. He is quiet. He gets along well with his sister Asha. He is interested in meeting dogs but has not had the opportunity. He is deeply suspicious of squirrels. He has not met any children. Jet & Asha would be a good pet for a single adult or couple - he’ll occupy himself during long work hours and be up for pets and brushing when you’re home.Jet must be adopted with his sister Asha.Like all ACR cats, Jet has been treated for fleas and parasites and is up-to-date on vaccines.

Story
Asha is a sweet little girl. She likes to hanging out in her cozy little cat cave or sitting by the window and watching the squirrels and birds outside. She enjoys being brushed and petted. She is quiet and neat (uses the litter box well). She is not a picky eater at all but does love her cat treats. Her favourite person is her brother Jet. He is never far from her and gives her the confidence to try things out. She and her brother would be perfect for someone who is busy as they will keep themselves occupied but then they love being petted and brushed when you get home. Asha must be adopted with her brother Jet.Like all ACR cats, Asha has been treated for fleas and parasites and is up-to-date on vaccines.
