Story
Meet Reggie: A Fighter Looking for His Forever Family Reggie is a one-year-old pup with a heart of gold and a spirit of resilience. Despite his tough start in life, he’s managed to charm everyone he meets. Reggie was rescued by the Footbridge Foundation after being abandoned, and since then, he’s been on a journey of healing and hope. Recently, Reggie was diagnosed with Corticosteroid Responsive Tremor Syndrome (CRTS), a rare autoimmune condition that causes inflammation in the brain and results in tremors. The good news? CRTS is manageable with medication, and Reggie is already responding well to treatment. He’s a playful, loving boy who just needs a little extra care to thrive. Sadly, Reggie has been let down twice by adoptive families who said they couldn’t continue to care for him. But we know the third time’s the charm, and we’re determined to find him the perfect match! We’ll be conducting a preliminary application process followed by a few additional steps to ensure his new family is the one he truly deserves. Reggie will also get to weigh in—because he’s the one who’ll ultimately decide if you’re his favorite people! Reggie is the perfect blend of cuddly companion and energetic pup. He loves lounging on the couch, exploring the yard, and getting all the belly rubs he can. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a sweet boy who’s overcome so much, we’d love to hear from you. Interested in meeting Reggie? Apply today, and let’s see if you’re the forever family he’s been waiting for! 🐾
