Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate.&#226&#128&#175Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.&#226&#128&#175  Other:&#226&#128&#175&#226&#128&#175Intact Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip  Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:  8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.  ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.
