Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs on to their new adopting families leaving April 4th 2025 from Southern California where we are located to the East Coast. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed 😊 We would love to add Daisy to our trip for the right home 💕 As always, for peace of mind for our adopting families we never ask for ANYTHING up front. Adoption fee/travel costs are always due when we arrive in person with Daisy in hand ❤️ Meet our gorgeous girl Daisy ❤️ She is 15 months of age. She is a purebred Scottish Terrier. She weighs right under 20 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and has been thourely examined by our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own 😊 She is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom if needed when asked to. She is very good about holding her bladder inbetween as she isn't one to ask to go outside, and patiently waits to be taken out so we reccomend having a schedule for her throughout the day as she will thrive from that moving forward! She is crate trained, and has no problem sleeping in the crate at night. She will also nap in it during the day, or when you have to go out and have to leave her behind til you return. She does however currently sleep in bed with our son. While she isn't necessarily heavy at 20 lbs, we have to remind her when she lays on our chest at night it can definitely feel like a ton of bricks 😂 She will happily lay on your chest all night if you let her, or right by your side snuggled very peacefully all night. She will follow you through the night if you have to get up to use the restroom yourself, so be prepared to have company on any late night endeavors 🙃 She is doing very well at leash training, and is starting to learn the joy the world outside of her home brings. She isn't a dog that will walk up to strangers on a walk, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy to watch them. She is a total people watching dog 😊 Her happy place is just being with her human, and or family ❤️ She is a very quiet Scottie girl! She isn't one that will bark for no reason. There has to be a very good reason for her voice to be heard, as she is naturally serene tempered and just QUIET. She is shy when meeting new people, but I promise you that once she is your girl, she will be your girl forever! She is an awesome friend, and one that will make your days more enjoyable and nights warmer as she will become your new built in heated blanket 😉 She is PHENOMENAL with other dogs and cats alike. She is very good about hanging with literally any animal she has met. We haven't seen her play with them too much, but she sure does make a great friend to them if they are wanting companionship, or a sleeping buddy to nap with during the day ☺️ She is a great traveling partner as well, so if you are looking for someone to bring with you on any venture you partake in, she will happily fill the role! She is great at bath time, and really enjoys being pampered. We always take a little extra time when blowdrying, and brushing her so we can soak in all the extra snuggles she gives for making her pretty💕 She is a beautifully tempered, and joyfully spirited soul patiently waiting for a human to become hers, and hers alone 🥰 She is a kind hearted, just absolutely beautiful animal and one that you need in your life ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Her prior owner couldn't keep her due to a divorce. She loved her immensely but knew as her life was falling apart that didn't mean Daisy's had to, so she reached out to us to take her in and find her the absolute best home for her where she would continue to blossom and most importantly be loved as unconditionally as she deserved! Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/daisy-3 It covers all of her vet costs, the care involved in the time she has been here with us, her grooming costs, and her training we have personally done with her.❤️❤️❤️
