Male, 5 mos, 23 lbs
Personality: Playful, eager-to-please, energetic, rambunctious, smart, affectionate, and outgoing.
Meet Fisher, the ultimate adventure buddy and all-around charismatic pup! This handsome, energetic boy is always up for a long walk, sniffing his way through the neighborhood and taking in all the exciting sights and smells. He loves to play fetch, tackle fun food puzzles, and is a quick learner who thrives on both treats and praise.
Fisher has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s always ready to make his people smile. While he still has some puppy energy, he settles well in his crate and has made great progress with house training—no accidents in the past week! He does well with other dogs at the park, and has mastered words like "sit" and "wait". Fisher is still working on perfecting his leash manners, but he's a great student and can't wait to keep learning at your side.
Fisher is so excited to find a home full of love, mental and physical exercise, and of course, lots of snuggles. With continued consistency and patience, he is well on his way to being a fantastic lifelong partner. Apply today to meet him!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
