Story
Meet Red, the lovable but quirky pup who's still learning the ropes but in no time will be a perfect companion! Red has some strong opinions about crates-he's not a fan. If left in one, you'll be treated to a chorus of barks and whines until he's free again. But when he's out and about, he's much happier, though he might sneak in a nibble on a stray toddler toy or two! On walks, Red is a total pro. He's great on a leash but is more of a sidekick than an explorer, sticking close by your side. He's not one for pulling too hard. When it comes to kids, Red can be a bit hesitant, but in a calm home with patient, understanding children, he'll warm up in no time! Red absolutely adored his Weimaraner mentor, and they made a great team. However, Red may become attached to his "person" and may not always want to share his person with his dog friends, a more submissive dog sibling may be best. This shy boy is an onion-peel back his layers, and you'll find a total sweetheart underneath. Once Red trusts you, expect some serious cuddle sessions and even a few gentle kisses. He loves being close to his humans and is cautious around strangers, looking to his trusted people for reassurance. As for playtime? Red loves to shred soft toys, but fair warning-he'll try to snack on them too! So, we've swapped those out for balls, which he loves just as much. Watching Red come out of his shell has been such a joy. At first, he avoided the couch and bed like they were lava, but soon enough, he became a snuggly sofa buddy! With his "Velcro fur and Velcro heart, Red sticks close to the ones he loves. He needs a patient, loving home with someone who's around a lot or will let him roam free (because crates are a big no-go for this guy!). He's super food-motivated, so he might sniff out his doggy sibling's dinner or counter surf if you're not careful, but that just means he's extra eager to learn! Ready to welcome this quirky, cuddly, and oh-so-sweet boy into your home? Red's waiting for someone who sees all his potential!
