She is currently 4 months old. Maya is a brilliant, curious, people-oriented dog who loves to play with her foster siblings. Maya Learned how to sit, stay, and come in her first week in foster care. She is 4 months old and ready for her forever family. Maya will need adopters with another 1-2 adult, dog-friendly, small-breed pup(s) in the home to mentor her and teach Maya how to be a family member. Maya weighs 8.2 pounds and will be in the 15-pound range as an adult. Like all puppies, she is sweet, curious, and very high-energy. Maya will need committed adopters who are willing to be patient and put in the time and energy to train her. Maya will also need someone to be with her during the day for potty training, mid-day feeding, training, and general care so she will grow up to be a well-adjusted dog.
