Story
Toast is perhaps the sweetest and most handsome little puppy to end up in a parking lot this year. This 8# 4-5 month Schnoodle (possible miniature poodle/schnauzer mix) was found in the Rolling Oaks parking lot. His hair was dirty and matted and he was exhausted. After a nice spa treatment, some tender loving care and a few good meals he has blossomed into a sweet puppy. He is smart, very comfortable with people, and gets along with the foster’s dogs and is not aggressive toward the cats but curious. He is working on housebreaking and doing exceptionally well. He tolerates kenneling. Toast will certainly love to have another 4-legged friend and being the smart guy that he is, and if enrolled in a Training Class he would likely be the Valedictorian. Toast’s adoption fee is $350 and includes neuter, microchip vaccinations, worming and a vet evaluation. If you can’t get this cute face out of your mind, then go to the site below and submit an application.

Story
Meet Curly!

Curly is a tenderhearted 1-year-old who weighs just 9 pounds. He is heartworm and Chagas negative... He is shy and I do not think people were very nice to him. He was found on the streets .... He doesn't appear to have a mean bone in his body but makes us corner him to pick him up. He lets us love on him but he always has a worried look on his face. When we are outside with the dogs, he will hang back and watch us or come up and give a nose boop. He wants to trust... I feel he will thrive in a home that is quiet and less chaotic than the rescue. He needs a patient, kind human who will make him feel safe. Curley gets along well with other dogs here at the rescue.

Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.

Story
What’s tiny, curly, and as cute as can be? It’s Sadie! Sadie was owner-surrendered to SNIPSA with three other dogs from the same home. While we don’t know much about their previous home life, we do know that Sadie needs a patient hand. This girl is overcoming her fears day by day–she clearly experienced some trauma in her past. But despite arriving a little “ruff” and rattled, her snuggly personality really shines in a calm environment. Sadie is a Poodle/Schnauzer mix, and she is fully grown at around a year and a half. Poodle/Schnauzer mixes are intelligent, playful, and affectionate dogs, known for being friendly with families and other dogs. These breeds are famous for their low-shedding coats, but consistent brushing and grooming will be needed to help prevent tangles and matting. If you’d like to give Sadie the love and patience she has been searching for, apply to meet her. She will make the sweetest, most grateful companion.
