Story
Natty is an absolutely wonderful, sweet, lovable, dog that we rescued about two years ago. However, she can jump our short fence, has attacked another dog and can be leash reactive when other dogs are present. She is spayed, chipped and been to various training programs which has helped significantly with her reactivity, but her instincts take over when she sees a dog she doesn’t know. She needs a place with a high (normal sized) fence. She does get along with other dogs she knows, we have another dog and four cats and she is great with them. We are heartbroken to have to rehome her, but have no other choice.

Story
SophieAnn Grace is a 4 year old poodle mix that weighs approximately 13 pounds. She was found as a stray on the streets super scared of humans and very timid. After a good bath, haircut, and a warm bed, SophieAnn started to realize that humans are actually not that bad! It has taken her at least 6 months, but SophieAnn will now come up and sit on the couch with you, but still at an arms distance away. She is still unsure about being loved on and petted by humans. Occasionally, she will allow you to get her on a leash and that is when she will become shy and allow you to gently pet her. However, she still is learning what it means to walk on a leash as well as trust and not run away from human contact. SophieAnn Grace would do best in a single adult household as she does tend to resource guard her person. Additionally, she needs another dog in the house to play with and teach her how to be a dog as well as show her that human love is okay. She is currently following and bonding with her fellow foster siblings and learning their daily routines. She enjoys running around outside on grass but currently does not play with toys. She does enjoy curling up in her many calming cuddle beds around the house and at the foot of her foster's bed at night. SophieAnn Grace is very food motivated and loves raw carrots and peanut butter! She is doing well with potty training, but as with any rescue dog, there can be occasional accidents in the house. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and is heart worm negative. SophieAnn can't wait to find her furever family that is willing to slowly work with her and show her that humans are the best fur-parents ever! UPDATE!!! It has taken over 6 months, but recently, SophieAnn has started jumping on the bed at night and will lay at your feet or by your legs. She has started to jump up on the couch and will allow one of her foster parents to pet her without being scared and trying to run or bite. SophieAnn needs someone who will be patient with her and allow her to adjust in her own time to human contact and love. She is amazing with other dogs but just still very timid about humans, especially those she does not know well. Adoption fee is: waived to the right family ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Hello there, I'm Princess. I am a 11 year old, nineteen pound Miniature Poodle being fostered in the Houston area. Don't let my age fool you, I've still got plenty of pep in my step. I'm the sweetest gal you'll ever meet, always ready with a friendly wag of my tail. My favorite thing in the world is cuddling up next to someone who loves me. I'm loyal to a fault, always sticking by my person's side. And I'm no fool, I can figure out puzzles in no time. Oh, and I get along with other dogs just fine. I've been told I'm the total package. I may be in my golden years, but I have so much love left to give. If you're looking for a faithful friend, a cuddle buddy, and a smart companion, then I'm your girl. Adopt me and let's make some beautiful memories together. Princess is being treated for heartworms. This is a treatable disease and treatment is covered by the rescue. She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and just had a dental. Adoption fee is waived to the right home ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Peter is currently working hard on his potty and leash training, showing great potential with a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement. With his high energy levels, Peter would be a perfect fit for an active home, ideally one with older children who can keep up with his playful nature. Story
Curly is a spirited 4-year-old Doodle mix weighing in at 59 pounds. Rescued from the streets of Fort Worth, he came to CAMO Rescue in tough shape, severely underweight and in need of care. Fortunately, Curly's life has taken a positive turn, and he's ready to find his forever home! This lovable bundle of energy adores running around the yard and, more than anything, loves being around people. Curly is completely potty trained and will hold it until he gets his chance to go outside. He's currently refining his leash walking skills and is making great progress, though he'll need a bit of consistency to master it. Curly gets along well with older teens or adult home. However, he would do best with no cats and as the only dog in the home due to some resource guarding tendencies with food and treats. With plenty of love and attention, Curly is sure to bring joy and laughter to any household. If you're looking for a devoted friend who will thrive with your companionship, Curly is your guy! Come meet him today! Adoption fee is: $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Story
Meet Gray, a handsome 3-year-old, 26-pound Poodle who is ready to find a loving, understanding home. Gray came to us as a stray and has shown himself to be a wonderful companion for those who respect his boundaries and let him adjust at his own pace. He's leash trained, house-trained, and, as a hypoallergenic breed, he makes a great match for families with allergies. Gray can be wary of new people, and his initial fearfulness may lead to some protective behaviors. He would thrive best in an adult-only home where his boundaries are respected. Though he's not comfortable with other dogs, once he feels safe with his humans, he's a sweet guy who loves spending time outdoors and enjoys relaxing with his toys. Gray needs a patient family that understands his need for time and space to feel comfortable. If you're looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion and are ready to give Gray the understanding he deserves, he could be your perfect match. Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet.
