Story
Meet Griffy! This fun and active little boy is looking for his forever home! He came to us from a local hoarding situation so there are a lot of home manners that he is still learning. He is about four years old and he absolutely loves other dogs and every single person that he meets. Griffy is a poodle mix possibly with Miniature Schnauzer. He is very playful and just a little needy. He’s basically your shadow all day long. He wants to follow his person around. He loves hugs and getting held and lots of scratches. Griffy enjoys playing with toys. He is now crate trained but he is still working on house training. He would do best in a home with a family that is available to take him out on a schedule rather than being gone for eight hours straight during the work week. Griffy did need a full shave down when he came to us due to his matted fur and he also got a dental for his teeth. Please be aware that he will need regular grooming and that, like all small dogs especially, a dental cleaning with your vet when it is recommended by them. He is fully grown and weighs about 13-14 pounds. Griffy can be loud he will let you know when somebody comes up to your door or he sees a stranger in your house or anything like that. Because of that we don’t think that he would be a good candidate for living in an apartment. If you are interested in adopting Griffy, please fill out an application at: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-61844 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. If you need to reach us regarding your application, the best way to contact us is through email.** We are located in Fayette County, GA and are a foster based rescue without a shelter building.

Story
We picked shadow up about 7 1/2 months ago from someone giving him and a couple other puppies away and at the time we were looking for another dog to give a little company to our other dog and we were looking for a small dog and they told us that he wouldn’t get to be but about 15 to 20 pounds and after about six months, we realized that he was going to Tower over our dog so he’s not a small dog he is now around 8 months old and he is a great and loving dog great for families is just a little too hyper and not a whole lot of space to let it out we try to take him to the park at least once a month but he needs a bigger house and yard. He does know a few commands like sit, shake and speak, but he could use a little more training with commands. His energy gets the best of him sometimesAnd He has had all of his shots. He just hasn’t been neutered yet.

Story
Requirement: secure fenced yard Meet Pearl! This stunning 2-year-old, 10lb poodle (possibly a mix) has the most gorgeous “red phantom merle” coat. But Pearl isn’t just a beauty—she’s as sweet as they come! Pearl loves to cuddle, play with toys, and is very food motivated. Like all poodles, she will require regular brushing and grooming to keep her coat in top shape. Pearl adores adults and gets along well with other dogs in the home. However, she does not enjoy the company of children, so she needs a child-free home where she won’t be expected to interact with kids. She’s still learning to walk on a leash and is a flight risk, so a secure, 4ft+ physical fence with no gaps is a must. Pearl came from a hoarding/cruelty case and is still working on her potty training, but she’s making great progress! She’s also crate trained and has been accident-free when left alone in a crate for up to 3-4 hours. If you’re looking for a loving companion and can provide Pearl with the safe, patient home she deserves, apply today! She’s sure to steal your heart. Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350. **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! Story
Marco is the cutest, sweetest 15-year-old dog I have ever known. I adopted him from the Humane Society. Initially very timid, he has gradually come out of his shell. Marco mainly sleeps but will walk around when he's hungry, needs to go outside, or just wants to stretch his legs. He loves being outside and lying in the grass. Remarkably, he does not lick or bark—I've only heard him bark four times in the three years I've had him, the last time being two years ago. Marco has cataracts but manages to get around on his own, although he doesn't navigate stairs by himself. He is very friendly to other dogs and people. Due to his vision, it's best to let him smell your hand first before petting him, as he can get startled if approached too quickly. He is afraid of thunder, so expect him to seek snuggles during storms. Marco is an easy-going dog. If you want to sleep in, he'll sleep in too. I want Marco to have a home where he is attentively cared for, safe, and lo
