Story
Buddy was an owner surrender due to owner passing, he is really good with people. Rescue been working on his socializing with other dogs and animals and he is really doing well. We still prefer experience owner. Need owner who is active, know how to handle big dogs (even he is middling size but have a soul of x-large dog) . Buddy would be a great addition to person/small family who loves hiking, boating and fishing; On the photo he is shaved. He has longer coat, wavy little bit. He is a handsome and very smart boy!

Story
Simba was surrendered to us the day after Christmas. His owners had kept him in their yard and as the kids grew older they paid less and less attention to him. Shelter Hope took him to the groomers and gave him quite the makeover! The neglect Simba endured physically and emotionally has definitely taken a toll on him. We have noticed that he tends to people guard and lash out when he feels cornered. Simba would do best in a home who would be willing to work with him to correct his behavioral issues and give him plenty of exercise. Be ready to adopt. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation. Please fill out our online application and our adoption counselor will reach out to you to discuss meeting your new family member.

Story
Mishkas Birthday is 12/17/2017. He is a loving sweet dog who finds loves to protect the house (mostly from birds and delivery people) and cuddle on the couch. He is in great health, and has received all necessary routine veterinary care, including annual dental cleanings. He loves walks where he gets to smell everything and mar his territory. He loves dog parks. He doesnt like chasing the ball, but rough play with a stuffed animal is his favorite game. He has been in our home since he was a puppy, and he has shared our home with our other dog, Milly. If separated, he might require more love and attention. Mishka is house trained and if walked regularly or has access to a doggy door will almost never have an accident at home (unless it is raining outside). He likes to be outside and bark, but that can be cured with a simple vibration color (no shock required). Or, if he gets to sit on someones lap, or curl up in bed, he is very calm also. Travels well under the seat of a plane.
