Story
Snuggly, sensitive, smart, and silly Sassy! Sassy absolutely loves love. Inside the home, she wants to rest her head on you and look longingly into your eyes, gently jump up and give you a hug, or just lounge on the couch. She knows that inside time is quiet time and takes that to heart. She is also fully house-trained. Sassy walks like an angel on the leash, staying close to your side without pulling. Although she's a bit shy, she is starting to make friends in the neighborhood with humans, dogs, and cats! Sassy will do best in a home outside the city hustle and bustle as the loud bus and train noises can scare her. She is super curious and submissive when meeting other dogs. She wants to introduce herself but is still figuring out how to play. That being said, she does need another sweet resident dog in the home for her to thrive...she arrived with her sister at Milo and they were quite attached. This girl is super smart. She has already learned "off", "leave it", and "come" in her first few days in foster care. She just wants to make you happy and hopes to get some belly rubs (or kidney beans) in return. Although she's a larger dog, she is extremely gentle and would do great in a home with kids, other dogs, or cats. She may sound too good to be true, but Sassy is real! Please submit an application if you are interested in having this sweetheart join your family.

Story
Rosarita and Dahlia are two perfect poodles! Rosarita is just as smart as you would expect but adds stellar skills in emotional intelligence to her resume. Dahlia a little bundle of joy wrapped in a curly fluff. She has a heart as big as her love for cuddles. They will both tiptoe into your life and stake a claim with gentle leans, boops and snuffles. Rosaritas vision is a little clouded by cataracts, but her aims are very clear: She seeks to capture the hearts and minds of humans and dogs. Dahlia is a social butterfly and enjoys wagging tail at every new face she meets. She is as sweet as her name and is ready to spread kindness wherever she goes. They belong together and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Help these two facilitate their rise to power in their forever home! A super fan has covered Dahlia and Rosarita's adoption fee! Here's some notes from their foster: Dahlia is more of a couch potato and requires a slightly slower approach. She likes to sleep, eat, and be carried about halfway through her walk. She likes to follow what her foster sister does. Containment: When unsupervised, they stay in an X-Pen, but it must be tall since Rosarita can climb over if she can reach the top while standing Both dogs do fine in a crate when necessary - Rosarita may paw briefly but then settles down to sleep Bonding & Behavior: Dahlia is strongly bonded to Rosarita and gets nervous if separated For travel and in a crate, keep them in the same carrier to prevent Dahlia from stressing They only need one dog bed because they always snuggle up together Dahlia's Habits: Very food-motivated and will climb to reach treats once comfortable in a space Loves exploring new environments thoroughly once she's acclimated Does not like big dogs. If a big dog gets close to her, she will growl and bark. This is actually the only time I have heard her make a noise. Rosarita's Habits: Very chill and will go along with everything Loves being around people and will always stand up to say hello When out on walks, if Dahlia gets picked up, she will often also want to be picked up so she can see Dahlia
