Dracula is a schipperke mix. He came to us from another local shelter after being surrendered for escaping behaviors. Dracula was a frequent flyer of getting out and being picked up by animal control. He`s future family needs to make sure they are diligent in keeping him confined and safe from escaping.This breed is very intelligent and active and known to get into mischief so future adopters should be prepared or at least somewhat familiar with his breed. While fun and compact this little guy will keep you on your toes! We will require children 12+ in his future home and required dog to dog intros for resident canines. Dracula has been known to chase and harass cats in his past so no feline companions for this little guy! If you would like to meet Dracula or have further questions please speak with our kennel staff.

Story
Willow is a 1.5 year old mix who came to us in need of a safe home while her family adjusted to a new lifestyle. She’s an incredibly friendly pup who loves to snuggle and cuddle on the couch and will do anything to make you smile. She’s great with cats and she loves children. She does well with other dogs in a home, however we feel she’ll excel in a home with older dogs or other dogs who are calm. Her snuggly submissive personality has her people oriented and she prefers to not engage with other dogs. Willow loves stuffed animals and does well walking on a leash. While we adore her, our own dog does not seem to like her much. We want all parties involved to feel comfortable and her first family does not want her back. We know Willow will make an amazing pal for her forever home.

Story
Ichiban is a 4 year old Shiba Inu pup born on December 17, 2020! He is such a good boy but is unfortunately the result of a backyard breeding incident and has some behavioral issues as a result. Due to the irresponsible breeding, Ichibans father passed down a food reactive personality to Ichiban. He doesn’t resort to biting right away and he will let out a series of barks to let you know to back off of his dinner. However, if you don’t listen & keep touching his food he will react with a bite. He has only ever bitten someone once & even when he did bite someone it only left a mark. He has never drawn blood or chased someone down to attack them. He reacts strictly out of fear of the unknown. It’s recommended that he has an owner who is experienced with dogs, or even better reactive dogs! We want to be fully transparent about him as we truly want the best for him & for him to live a good life despite his issues. Even after he is adopted we would still love to keep track of him!
