Story
Ellie was adopted as a rescue in 2015 and has brought immense joy to me for those years. Unfortunately, in her older years she has become much more intolerant of my toddler- causing much tension in our home. We have had to take measures to keep her separated from our children, which has also meant being separated from the rest of our family. This is not what I had imagined for her, nor what I want for her. I am considering rehoming as an option, if I can find the right fit for her. She has tons of energy, even as a senior dog. She would do best with someone who lives an active lifestyle and has no children. She can be around other dogs, but I think she generally prefers not to be. She has not been around cats.
