Story
This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Please contact foster at jbatista1731@gmail.comHe`s been a very good boy during his stay at my home. He`s very low key and laid back. Nothing really excites him, not even treats. He might play fetch though with a toy. He`s nonchalant around kids, dogs, and cats. He might get curious about them but that`s about it, kinda keeps to himself. Very cat like behavior. He does appear to be housebroken and good on a leash. He`s not a runner, if you`re looking for an active dog, he`s not your guy. He`ll walk or trot that`s about it. He knows his name and has good recall which is rare for a Shiba Inu. And lastly, he`s very clingy with his person. He follows me everywhere and paws at me for attention. He hasn`t barked once, but he might cry a little if left alone. Sometimes he`s a cat, sometimes he`s a dog.
