Story
If pure joy were a dog, it would be Stitch. This 2-year-old, 15-pound Schipperke mix (a.k.a. fuzzy bundle of happiness) is basically the canine version of sunshine. With his sleek black coat, bouncy energy, and always-wagging tail, Stitch is ready to light up your life. He’s the kind of pup who makes everything more fun—whether he’s tossing toys around like a goofball, sniffing every blade of grass on a walk, or cuddling up for some well-earned snuggle time. Stitch is all about the good vibes and will greet every person and pup with the same attitude: `Hi, I`m Stitch! I love you already!`He’s fully housebroken, perfectly happy in his crate at night or when needed, and though he’s still mastering the fine art of leash walking and manners (what’s “heel”? never heard of her), he’s eager to learn and very food-motivated. Honestly, he just wants to make you smile—and he will.Stitch loves:People (big, small, young, old—you’re all his best friends)Other dogs (playdates, please!)Toys, walks, snuggles, and staring wistfully out the window like he’s starring in a romcomBeing involved in whatever you’re doing, especially if it includes petting himStitch dislikes:We really tried to find something, but nope. He’s just that delightful. If you’re looking for a best friend who wakes up happy, goes to bed happy, and is happy every moment in between—Stitch is your guy. Come meet him and prepare to fall in love! If you’d like to take Stitch home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $350 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
