Story
❗Current location: in a local private shelter in South Korea - you can have a meet-and-greet via video calls❗ Meet Hyorim👋 a sweet girl with a gorgeous black coat with milk spilled on the chin/chest/paws. At just 2 months old, she was found on the street in South Korea with her three other siblings. They were taken to a high-kill city shelter and ended up on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, the siblings were rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, and Hyorim was sent to her foster family soon after. She has lived peacefully in her foster home with two resident dogs for almost a year. Hyorim is now back in the shelter and patiently waiting for her forever family! • Personality: Sweet, Gentle, Calm Hyorim is such a sweet and gentle girl! With a cautious nature, she may need time to adjust to a new home gradually, but she becomes friendly once she warms up to you. Considering her high dependence on the resident dogs of her previous foster family, she would adapt quickly to the new environment if she is adopted as your second dog. She has a mid-low energy level, so she calmly rests in the house until the time for a walk. • Affinity with - Dogs: Dog-friendly and well-mannered with other dogs. She doesn’t play too wild. - Cats: Not interested in cats - Adults/Kids: Good with people / No aggression towards kids • Walking Manners: Generally good. She tends to pull the leash from time to time but has got much improved. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken at her previous foster home, mainly using pee-pads indoors and going potty outdoors sometimes. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good • Separation Anxiety: None. • Car Sickness: No. She is good with car rides. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. She is usually really quiet and only barks a little bit when strangers come to the house. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-7 • Likes: She loves playing with stuffed animals/ropes and enjoys nose work & slow feeder with peanut butter, churu (lickable treat), and pet milk!

Story
This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Sunny with a story of miracles👋 Sunny was found on a street in South Korea at one year old in 2018 and taken to a high-risk shelter, but she was already in serious condition presumably caused by a car accident. Her pelvis was fractured, and her right hind leg bone was broken into pieces. She was saved from euthanasia by the rescue team and hospitalized for months (Jun-Sep 2018) due to the surgery and recovery. She was miraculously given a new life thanks to the rescue. That same year, after a few months of foster period, Sunny found a forever home, which was another miracle we thought of back then. Five years later, however, the rescue team got an unknown phone call requesting to change Sunny's ownership. Long story short, her family decided to give up on her after years, sent her to a pet shop, and paid them, all this without discussing it with the rescue team. This pet shop basically receives pets from owners and in turn, sells them out, and to do so with Sunny, they needed to have Sunny's ownership switched from the rescue team to the pet shop so they contacted the rescue team, and that’s how the rescue team learned Sunny's situation. Eventually, Sunny was able to safely return to her original rescue team, which is another miracle in her story. Despite all these setbacks, Sunny's sweet nature and zest for life shine bright. She needs one true chance to find her real forever family that loves her unconditionally. Recently, she has been moved to her foster home with two other dogs. Sunny is eagerly waiting for her own home now! • Personality: Sweet, Playful, Sociable Sunny thrives on love and affection and gets along with all people and furry friends, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a lovely and affectionate fur buddy. She is such a cuddle bug! She likes snuggly cushions and blankets. • Affinity with - Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs regardless of the size - Cats: Okay with street cats. She sometimes tries to chase kittens, but she stops when told. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults, especially elders including men / Okay with kids - not much interest in them. 💫She will be a perfect fit for most types of families! • Housetrained: fully housebroken, okay with both pee-pads and outdoors. • Walking Manners: very good • Separation Anxiety: None • Bathing/Brushing: very good • Barks/Howls: she barks when excited or when she wants something. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Car Rides: very good • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies • Health Issues: Due to the serious injuries that she got from an accident right before rescue, her pelvis is not perfectly placed (incomplete union of iliac) even after she had surgery immediately after being rescued. However, currently, she doesn’t show signs of pain when walking or running. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Sunny, please don't hesitate to apply!
