Story
Meet the ooooober handsome Geordi La Forge!   This special guy is around 11 lbs and we are guessing approximately 14 years old. This is what his foster mom says about him -   'Geordi Geordi Geordi... what can I say about this beautiful little bundle of joy!? It took some time for this little Angel to come out of his shell, s He is a black and white, neutered male Pomeranian. The shelter said he is about 4 years old, the vet stated more like 14...but he has all of his teeth, and they don't look bad either! So I'm guessing he is much younger than that, but I'm not an expert, so who really knows!? He came from a hoarding situation, but we dont know much about his upbringing. His poor little rear end had so much hair loss, but its slowly growing back. His face is a little crooked and we don't know if it was an old injury, or birth defect. He yawns smaller than normal because his mouth is a little crooked, but I think it makes him that much more beautiful .   I Love this little dog! He is sweet, gentle, loving, and potty trained to potty pads. He even uses a doggy door to go outside! He gives his foster mama kisses, although it took about 3 weeks for him to really come out of his shell, but he is out now and fully loving life! He greets me at the door and wags his little tail when I come home, even bounces and spins sometimes too! He is really is a happy little guy. He is very quiet, and does sleep quite a bit, but if you aren't hanging out with him on the couch, he WILL come find you even if you are in dispose ()! He does really well on small flights of stairs, its about 5 to get outside my home. He has a pretty good appetite and loves his Freeze Dried Raw Stella and Chewys Pet food, but kinda snubs the Nulo kibble .   He gets along well with other dogs big and small...he doesnt play much, but is the best couch potato Netflix snuggler you can find! Hands down, he will LOVE those weekend binge fests! Oh and the belly rubs , he absolutely LOVES his belly rubs! I'll get him up from a nap and say let's go potty Geordi! And he will just roll over and give me his belly. He makes my heart melt .   He would probably do best in a home with older more chill kids as he does have a bit of a sight and hearing impairment and can get nippy if he is approached too fast or aggressively. He also doesn't like going to the vet because it scares him, so he can be nippy there too. But once he knows you, and knows you won't hurt him, he will be your best friend furrever! '   Are you that special someone he has been looking for!?   If you are interested in any further information on this beautiful little bundle of joy, please email at: beourpet@gmail.com   Geordi is ready and waiting to meet you!    We are on all social media at @umbrellaofhope and we invite you to follow us and share which helps more people see and adopt our pets.  To help our ALL VOLUNTEER team rescue more senior, special needs, medically needy and hospice animals (and a few 'typical' ones along the way, please consider making a tax-deductible (TAX ID 45-4103375) donation online at www.paypal.me/UOH or Venmo @umbrellaof-hoperescue or Zelle beourpet@gmail.com.   You can also buy tees, tanks. sweatshirts, hats and bandannas where all proceeds benefit our animals https://ruff-life-rescue-wear.myshopify.com/collections/umbrella-of-hope We also have an Etsy store where the merchandise is made by volunteers and supporters, changes regularly and 100% of the proceeds benefit our medical fund https://www.etsy.com/shop/Umbrellaofhope Amazon Wish List tinyurl.com/pineapplewish  November 9, 2024, 1:12 pm
