Check out Gomer. A serious fellow that was found as a stray. Gomer is almost 30 pounds and is neutered, housetrained and loves his crate. He is dog friendly and loves his humans. He loves to go on long sniff walks and meeting and greeting all along the way. You can meet or adopt this handsome lad through www.dallasdogrrr.org/adopt - Smart - Dog and human friendly - He is fast, loves to say hi to all the neighbors. - Very affectionate, he will roll over right next to you for pets or just to be near you - Has a good amount of energy, loves playing but once he's done playing he wants to just sleep. Sleep hard play hard kinda of guy - Potty trained, can hold up to 8 hours - Crate trained, he will go there to sleep in his own sometimes; he will sleep through the night - He doesn't bark often, only when he wants to get out of his crate to play or when he is in the backyard and sees or hears something strange - Comes when call name but if he is on his adventure he will not come, if you chase him, he will roll over - Knows sit, look, touch but depends on the mood - In training: leave it, wait, what is that - Need to work on jumping but his short adorable legs just make you smile. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
