Story
Shauna is a beautiful red girl. She found herself at the shelter. No one came for her. Upon entering the shelter as a stray, she had a shock collar on her. Shauna is a nice girl. She is active and playful and needs a family that will attend to her energy. Shauna is very smart. She can figure things out pretty quickly. She can climb and she is an escape artist so a family with a very secure yard and extra precautions. She can get separation anxiety. She loves to cuddle and play with other dogs. When first meeting bigger dogs, she can be cautious and fearful, but this dissipates in about 5 minutes. She is fine with most cats but one that runs could get her involved in a game of chase. Shauna is a wonderful little girl who is looking for a home to share her love with. She is around 4 yrs of age but small, about 20 lbs. Adoption fee is $400 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62.
