Meet Mira. Meet Mira. Mira is a beautiful 3 1/2 yo Samoyed weighing 48 lbs that was rescued from a commercial breeding kennel. She is looking for a patient home that has experience or done some research on puppy mill dogs. Mira will require a fenced in yard, and another dog in the home to help her feel more comfortable. Mira  is good with kids, but will need a home with older children that understand how to give her space to decompress. She is still getting used to everything new to her. Mira does great in the crate and doing well with house training. Mira seems to light up the most when she sees another Samoyed. She probably would love a home with a friendly and social Samoyed to show her how great home life can be. Mira is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.00. True to her Arctic roots, Yuki has that classic Sammie sparkle—gentle, observant, and just a bit chatty when she has something to say.Yuki is still learning how to “dog” in a home, but she’s already discovered a few favorite luxuries. After stretching her legs in a securely fenced yard (a must for this girl), she transforms into a world-class couch potato. Soft blankets? Yes, please. Long naps? Absolutely. Snuggles with her doggy pals? The finer things suit her well.Naturally a little shy with new people, Yuki will blossom with patience and kindness. Once she feels safe, she’ll reward her humans with the sweetest little kisses and quiet companionship. Like many Samoyeds, she thrives with her pack—she has always lived with other dogs and has learned so much from her canine friends.
