Story
Hello, my name is: YukiApprox. DOB: 01/08/2018Weight: 37.5 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female SamoyedRescued From: Breeding kennelMeet Yuki, a little cloud of a Samoyed who’s just beginning the journey from breeding kennel to cherished family companion. True to her Arctic roots, Yuki has that classic Sammie sparkle—gentle, observant, and just a bit chatty when she has something to say.Yuki is still learning how to “dog” in a home, but she’s already discovered a few favorite luxuries. After stretching her legs in a securely fenced yard (a must for this girl), she transforms into a world-class couch potato. Soft blankets? Yes, please. Long naps? Absolutely. Snuggles with her doggy pals? The finer things suit her well.Naturally a little shy with new people, Yuki will blossom with patience and kindness. Once she feels safe, she’ll reward her humans with the sweetest little kisses and quiet companionship. Like many Samoyeds, she thrives with her pack—she has always lived with other dogs and has learned so much from her canine friends. A confident, friendly dog sibling is essential to help her continue building confidence (bonus points if they enjoy a little polite “conversation” and playtime!).Yuki will need a committed family and a quieter home ready to guide her as she learns household manners and settles into pet life. In return, she’ll offer loyalty and the special magic only an Arctic breed can bring. Please help us find Yuki the forever home she so desperately deserves! Story
Meet Sammy Sammy is a 4‑year‑old, 48‑pound Samoyed with a gentle soul and an easygoing nature. After being heartbreakingly abandoned in the parking lot of a local humane society, Sammy was brought to ACCT Philly, where our team found him and knew right away he deserved a fresh start. We quickly welcomed him into our rescue, and he’s been winning hearts ever since. From the moment our volunteers met him, Sammy showed just how sweet he is. He happily came right to the front of his kennel to greet everyone, was easy to leash, and walked calmly without pulling. On walks, he’s gentle, relaxed, and clearly enjoys quiet companionship. Sammy’s coat is currently in rough shape, with areas of fully shaved fur that is suspected to be the result of severe matting from previous neglect. With proper grooming, patience, and ongoing coat care, he should continue to improve, but his future family should be prepared to understand and stay on top of his grooming needs. Calm, kind, and affectionate, Sammy is looking for a loving home where he can finally feel safe and cared for. If you’re ready to give this sweet boy the comfort and understanding he deserves, Sammy will reward you with loyalty, quiet affection, and a whole lot of love. He would need dog meets with any resident dogs. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. He is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive the dental as the vet deems necessary. Story
🐾 **Basic Information** Hati is currently in South Korea. He was found wandering around an apartment complex in an urban area and was reported to local authorities, which led to his intake at a municipal shelter. Due to overcrowding at the facility, he was placed on the euthanasia list. However, he was far too young and healthy to lose his life there, and our team believed he deserved a real chance at finding a loving home—so we stepped in and rescued him. 🐶 **Personality & Social Traits** Since his rescue, Hati has been living in a private shelter where we have closely observed his behavior. He is in excellent health, very affectionate with people, and gets along well with other dogs. He has a friendly, social temperament and genuinely enjoys human interaction, making him a wonderful companion. ⚠️ **Training & Behavioral Notes** Hati is still working on a few areas. He does not have accidents indoors under normal circumstances, but if confined to a kennel for longer than about 6 hours, he may not be able to hold it. He also shows mild separation anxiety—if left without human presence for more than 3 hours, he may begin barking. Our team is actively addressing both his potty training and separation anxiety through consistent structure and routine. 🐱 **Reactivity (Cats)** Hati showed **reactive behavior** when encountering **stray cats** outdoors, displaying a high level of arousal. Based on this, we do not recommend placing him in a home with cats. 🚶 **Exercise & Past Environment Insight** His leash manners are not yet well developed, which suggests he may not have received sufficient exercise or structured walks in his previous home. This leads us to believe he may have been left alone for extended periods without adequate physical or mental stimulation. 📊 **Details** * Weight: **52.5 lbs (23.8 kg)** * Age: Estimated **1–2 years old** 🏡 **Ideal Home** Hati would thrive in a home where he is not left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. A family with a consistent daily routine—especially for bathroom breaks—and an active lifestyle would be ideal. He needs a home that can provide enough physical exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training with structure and patience. 🌍 **Adoption Information** We facilitate international adoptions and are dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for our dogs in countries including South Korea, the United States, Canada, and Germany. The adoption fee is all-inclusive, covering international transportation, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and the airline-approved travel crate. This ensures that each dog is fully prepared for a safe and compliant journey to their new home. We kindly ask all applicants to carefully review each dog’s profile before reaching out. To maintain an efficient and respectful adoption process, we may not respond to inquiries that attempt to negotiate the adoption fee or include questions already addressed in the provided information.
