NO CATSSteve was picked up as a stray in Nedrow and weighs about 72 pounds. He`s a people loving, snow loving boy who loves affection and doesn`t flinch at the cold. Just look at all that floof!. He walks well on a leash for our volunteers and is easy to leash. Being an akita, he does have a strong prey drive, so would do best in a home without cats or small critters. We`re still getting to know Steve but so far he`s showing himself to be a wonderful and easy going dog for someone who understands the breed.

Story
Ace is a very friendly and energetic dog. He loves belly rubs and your company. He is crate and house trained. He loves to play and he likes treats. He doesn't like to be touched when eating. He guards his food. He will growl, nip or show his teeth if you try to pet him while he's eating. He is little but believes he is a big boy. He barks at people trying to approach his home. This behavior goes away once he gets to know you. He loves to go on walks and interact well will other dogs. He is not a fan of cats. He loves to play in the snow. He is a great boy and I would love for him to find a loving kind person.
