❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ • Phoebe was found on an island called Jeju, South Korea. He was a one-month-old puppy crying alone in a tangerine field. He was rescued by our organization after being placed in a high kill city shelter. He is such a perfect puppy. His current foster parents say he is flawless: smart, healthy, sociable and friendly with both people and other dogs and cats. • He's almost done with his baby teeth and has his permanent teeth now, and I'm sure he'll be a great looking dog once he's done shedding. If you're interested in learning more about him, don't hesitate to submit an application today - the family that adopts him will be so lucky :)

These pups are in Washington, District of Columbia too!

Story
This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Please contact Paul Slebzak (pauls@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.gorgeous akita mix ISO love and central air! GLORIA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Gloria     Best Guess for Breed:  Akita and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age:   6 years as of November 2024     Gender: Female Approximate Weight:   49 lbs Gets Along With: Gloria lives with other dogs in her foster home. We haven't seen her with kids but she can be tested. Gloria should not go to a home with cats.  Currently Living At: DC area foster home. Special Adoption Considerations: Gloria is heartworm positive, but this Lucky Dog got extra lucky! This pup is part of a groundbreaking study we are conducting at our South Carolina Rescue Campus that has the potential to change the way shelters across the United States treat heartworm positive dogs.  All dogs in the study are placed at random in either the 2 shot or 3 shot protocol with strictly monitored protocols in place. Four weeks following their final injection, the pups are eligible to transport to the DC area for placement in foster or adoptive care.  After treatment concludes, we work with adopters to arrange a free follow up heartworm test after 6 months, followed by a second test at 9 months.  We are happy to discuss this treatment and which phase of the study this Lucky Dog is in right now! Just email the adoption coordinator - the address is at lower left! Gloria Is Looking For: Her forever home! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own, and can't wait to once again have her own humans. She's eager for long sniffy walks and all the adventures her new family can dream up. Note her thick, dense coat. She has a preference for adventures in cool places - the mountains over the beach, Vermont or Montana, and oh yeah - Starbucks for pup cups. And quality kibble and and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list too. But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to know who her people are, and to be safe and loved. In exchange, she offers her stockpile of adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days.  What My Foster Says About Me: Gloria is a great dog.  She walks well on leash, and hasn't had an accident in the house since I got her.  She can sit and stay (with treats).  She is very treat-motivated.  She interacts well with my dogs, and she is not noisy at all! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
