Meet Ryden, the sweetest love bug you’ll ever meet! 🐾 This playful guy loves giving kisses and getting scratches from everyone. He’s full of curiosity and still has puppy energy. He’s made so much progress with his foster family and is ready to find his forever home! 💙 Crate and potty trained 💙 Friendly with everyone he meets 💙 Food motivated and learning commands 💙 Loves to play—especially with other dogs! Ryden is still working on leash manners and getting used to being brushed, but with treats, praise, and consistent training, he’s making great strides every day. He’d thrive in a home with a yard, another playful dog, and an experienced owner who can help him keep growing into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with plenty of personality, Ryden is your guy! Broke this cutie pie out of Carson shelter a few days ago thanks to an awesome foster offer! Thank you to @fosternet.socal for connecting the foster to us ❤️ His foster says “Bon Bon is doing awesome. He definitely has big puppy energy now that he’s feeling better…so smart and super responsive to training. He already knew shake but learned sit so quickly! He’s 100% great around all people. Plays well with toys and everything. I can pet him and be in his space while he eats and he’s totally chill.” Bon Bon is a sweet 2-year-old samoyed mix. He was surrendered to the shelter by his owner who said he “got too big”. Bon Bon is a large dog who has basic manners and is friendly. His play style is described as gentle/dainty. He is healthy and scheduled for neutering next week. Then he’ll be all ready to bring his happy personality into his forever home. Meet QQ 🐾 This handsome 4-year-old boy weighs about 40 lbs, is neutered, and up to date on all vaccines and medical care. He’s looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can feel safe, build confidence, and thrive. He is an owner surrender, but his current family can keep him until a foster is found. Here’s what we know about him so far: 💡 He’s incredibly smart, picks up on context clues, and loves car rides and cuddles on the couch. 🏡 At home, he can be anxious and has a history of resource guarding random items from people in the household—something his previous owners managed by setting boundaries and giving him space. 🛁 Interesting fact about QQ: Unlike most dogs, he LOVES going to the vet and groomer. 🛏️ Crate and potty trained with great manners overall. 🐕 Likes observing at the dog park but sometimes he gets overwhelmed and will run and hide. He is a bit awkward and just doesn’t quite know how to play. He was a true covid pup and didn’t get a ton of socialization in his early years. We’re committed to helping him thrive, and we plan on working with an amazing trainer in San Diego (the same one who worked wonders with Wesley, an SRSC alum!) to give him the tools he needs to succeed. We’ve attached a fundraiser to this post to help cover the cost of his training. Every dollar makes a difference and helps us give this boy a fresh start. ❤️ Foster Requirements: - Experienced, adult-only home (no kids). - Must be a long-term, committed foster. - Located in or near San Diego is a huge plus, so he can work closely with his trainer. - Willing to provide a stable, structured environment with patience and love. This sweet 2.5-year-old Samoyed mix, Abby, is in need of a loving home. She’s a total angel—crate-trained, potty-trained, polite around food, and loves to play. Abby gets along great with dogs of all sizes as well as puppies. Abby is part of a family with 7 dogs. Sadly, due to some issues with one of the other female dogs in the home, Abby spends a lot of time outside or in her kennel, and her family really wants to give her the chance she deserves for a happier, more active life inside a home. HIRO is a friendly, affectionate, and strikingly handsome 5 year old male Japanese/American Akita. He was surrendered to rescue after his family had to relocate to Korea and were unable to take Hiro with them. Hiro is a medium-large sized Akita, and weighs about 80lbs. He has a beautiful, soft, shiny blond coat and the sweetest, brightest dark brown eyes.  Hiro was very socialized as a young Akita, and has an easy-going temperament. Ruger is an incredibly handsome 4 year old purebred American Akita. He is friendly to new people, affectionate with those he knows, and likes to play tug-o-war! When it's time to sleep, Ruger carries his "baby" (stuffed animal) around and then snuggles up with it.  Before coming into rescue, Ruger lived in a home with kids, and another dog. We think he would be happiest being an only dog, and in a home with  Like most Akitas, Ruger will do best in a home without other dogs, or children under the age of 18.
