My name is Whitney, and I'm a gorgeous 1-year-old female with the cutest mix of one blue eye and one brown eye, along with a beautiful, fluffy white coat. I'm a delightful blend of Samoyed and Siberian Husky! I'm all about having fun and being an awesome family companion. I absolutely adore children and love joining in on outdoor adventures. I get along great with dogs my size and can even manage with small dogs, but I'm not a fan of cats. I'm an intelligent girl and easy to train! I'm still learning the ropes with leash manners and basic commands, but I'm eager to learn alongside you. I'm expected to weigh around 50 to 60 pounds once I'm fully grown. I'm on the lookout for a patient, loving family who will appreciate my joyful spirit and commit to my training journey. I promise to fill your home with silliness and unconditional love! Meet Crystal, our beautiful 38-lb, 1 year, 4 month old Samoyed mix — a bright, friendly girl with so much love to give. She gets along nicely with both dogs and cats, making her a wonderful candidate for a multi-pet household. Her social nature and easygoing temperament make her a lovely companion who enjoys being part of the family. On walks, she is not reactive on leash and handles outings calmly, which is a great foundation to build on. She will benefit from continued training on basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, and recall to help her grow into a well-mannered adult dog. She is housebroken with only a couple of minor accidents. Crystal is young, smart, and at the perfect age to continue learning with consistency and positive reinforcement. She would thrive in a home ready to provide structure, exercise, and ongoing guidance. In return, she offers affection, companionship, and the joyful spirit that makes Samoyed mixes so special.

Urgent Foster or Rescue Needed – CheddarCheddar is a very fearful girl who is shutting down in the shelter and urgently needs a patient foster or rescue to help her feel safe. She consistently retreats to the back of her kennel, trembling and curled tightly into the corner. When approached, she attempts to make herself smaller and avoids engagement.Once out of the kennel, Cheddar remains extremely nervous—tail tucked, shaking, and showing clear stress signals (whale eye, lip licking, head turning). While she will take treats gently from hand and even offers occasional hand licks, handling—especially for medical care—overwhelms her, and she may thrash when restrained. She does recover afterward and will accept treats and pets. She knows “sit” and “shake,” showing there is a sweet, social dog beneath the fear.In dog-to-dog interactions, she becomes very excited but displays conflicted body language, suggesting she may need slow, structured introductions.Cheddar has shown no improvement in the kennel environment, and her quality of life is declining. She needs a calm, consistent home where she can decompress at her own pace and build confidence. Please consider stepping up for this fragile girl who is struggling to cope in the shelter.
