Story
Meet Chester! This sweet greyhound mix was rescued in 2021. He's obedience school trained (Upstate Canine Academy, 2024), great on leash, and rides like a dream in cars. Chester is crate trained but can also be left home for 8+ hours with no issues. He doesn't chew, counter surf, or shed much. He's the perfect balance of playful and calm: happy to fetch or hike, but equally content to snuggle on the couch. One daily 20 minute walk is enough to keep him content, though he'll gladly join as your running buddy. Chester is wonderful with sitters, walkers, and doggie day care/doggie hotel. Chester has been my beloved companion for four years, but he truly thrives as the only dog in a home. Despite training, daycare, and lots of effort, he hasn't adjusted to living with my significant others dog. While it breaks my heart, I know Chester will be happiest in a single-dog/only pet household where he can be the center of attention. Best suited for an adult, couple, or family with older kids.
