Story
Meet Saint Charles! He’s a gorgeous, high-energy Pharaoh Hound with a huge heart and goofy personality. He loves walks, runs, and being outdoors, and he’s fantastic on leash. Because he hasn’t been getting the exercise he needs, he’s full of energy right now and tends to jump when excited — something that will improve with structure and activity. At home, he’s a sweet cuddle bug who loves to burrow under the covers. He’s smart, food-motivated, and eager to please. He adores other dogs and would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard and a playful canine friend or two. He’s chasing the kitty right now because of his energy, but when he has time to run in the yard he doesn’t bother the cat; we recently moved to an apartment which has changed his exercise level unfortunately. His current owner loves him deeply but must travel soon to care for a grandmother with dementia, and wants to find Saint Charles a safe, loving home as soon as possible.
