Meet Johnny Panther! Panther is a gorgeously handsome Russian Blue/bobtail mix, about 2 years old. This sweet boy has been in foster care since August when he was found peering into a home, trying to get inside. We believe he was dumped in a rural area as no one contacted to the shelter to say they were missing him, despite him being outside the home for months..Panther is so loving and affectionate and will wrap his world around you. He is very people oriented and, while in his 1st foster home, seemed to get sullen when not with other cats  so he was moved to another foster home where he could be with other cats and receive more lovin'. While there, he met his BFF, Ledger. Ledger is a 5 month old kitten (also in care) and the 2 immediately bonded. They do everything together - eat together, play together, sleep together, and even pose elegantly for photos! They need to be adopted together. Johnny needed a friend and Ledger needed someone to look up to. Ledger makes Johnny feel good about himself. They complete each other. There is a $55 discount on bonded pairs.Both boys are ready to go home with an approved application. They would do best in a quiet, moderate activity home with a human(s), or a family with cat friendly kids over the age of 5 years old. They are dewormed, neutered, vaccinated with FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and are microchipped with a lifetime registration. Meet Dakota and Slate!  These girls came to us from a local shelter when their family" moved and left them behind to fend for themselves. Suddenly after being fed kibble in a bowl, they now had to eat from trash cans or learn to hunt; after being inside a warm home, they now had to stay warm, find shelter, and learn about the not-so-friendly life on the streets. After some time, they were found by a Good Samaritan and taken to a shelter. There they stayed - each in their own cage - since December 2023 - 11 months -  and they were not able to comfort each other because they were in separate cages (every shelter's policy). Sadly, because they had been in the shelter for so long and the shelter was now at capacity, they were in the top 3 to be euthanized, so Forgotten Felines quickly took them into care.(The cat at the top of the list was also pulled and is now in her forever home!)Once in their foster home, they were excited to see each other again after being separated for so  long. They immediately snuggled together and groomed each other and have been inseparable since..These girls are bonded and must be adopted together. (We have a special - adopt 1, get 1 free!)Dakota is a beautiful, long haired white and gray beauty, just 3 years old. She is friendly an enjoys being pet and loved on. She adapts fairly quickly to people and enjoys taking naps in front of a sunny window. Slate is a beautiful Russian Blue, also 3 years old. Slate also warms up fairly quickly and enjoys being pet, sunny windows, and naps. They were found together and are bonded, after being through so much together.In their letter to Santa they wrote that they are happy for the gift of being together again and they are dreaming of being part of a loving family. Their perfect family would be a quiet, low activity home with a human or humans with with or without cat-friendly kids over the age of 10 years old.Both girls are ready to go home with an approved application. Abby is still fearful of people but is making good progress. She lets familiar volunteers pet her and she enjoys the touch and affection. She needs an adoptor with a quiet house (she does ok with other cats) who is very patient. The right adopter for Abby will let her progress at her pace and will love her even if she doesn't completely overcome her fear. Abby is sweet and gorgeous and we believe she'll continue to get more comfortable. We're making her available now in case the right adopter comes along. A beautiful and friendly Blue Russian grey and white, Velvet greets you in the room, rubs up against your leg, and will want to be with you when you sit. She is gentle, sweet, and affectionate and gets along well with other cats.

Raven is friendly and sociable. She always comes up to greet you and wants a good back scratch. Is somewhat playful, and enjoys being around other cats.

Josie still needs work socializing but gets along great with other cats. She is so curious and follows you around but is just not quite ready for cuddling with humans yet. She will allow you to pet her back. She is a beautiful Blue Russian type with white on her chest and the cutest sweet face ever.

Banchee is making progress every day to become more sociable with humans. She is timid but very food motivated and likes to play with toys. She interacts with humans and responds to her name, will approach you, and sit next to you but is just not quite sure about being petted.

Shy and needing socialization, Pickle is a beautiful Blue Russian type.
