Izzy is a loving & sweet Russian Blue mix kitty who was living on the streets. We realized he was friendly after trapping him and wanted to give him a second chance. He's friendly and likes other cats.  He's acclimated to a home environment well. Izzy has great litter box habits and a healthy appetite. He's learning to play with toys, so that will be fun project for his new family to take on -- can't go wrong either furry mice or bell balls. ♥&#239&#184&#143 Izzy would do best in a home without young children.  Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval. Meet Precious - a stunning Russian Blue mix with the most gorgeous peridot green eyes you have ever seen. Would you even guess that Precious is 15 years old? If humans all look this gorgeous and magnificent in our senior years, we would indeed be a lucky species. Instead of getting wrinkles, Precious gets a glossy fur coat and instead of eyebags, she has luminous eyes glowing with wisdom. This beautiful granny kitty is gentle and quiet. She's does well other cats, but is not assertive. If a rambunctious kitten tries to bully her, she would simply run away. She's extremely loving towards humans and tends to grab your hands to make sure you keep petting her. It's also her way of playing gently with you. She also gives love nips as kisses to show her love, especially on her favorite human's face. Like most Russian Blues, Precious will vocalize her needs readily. Food and fresh water needs to be served on time and a clean litter box is essential to keeping this dainty granny happy. Precious is seeking a quiet, Zen environment to call her own. Granny Abby is a gregarious, chubby senior citizen in the feline world. She exhibits the typical outgoing, social nature of the Russian Blue (mixed) breed. She is very confident and not afraid of anyone. Nothing makes this little lady happier than the sight of a treat. Watch how her huge green eyes light up at the sight of a scrumptious freeze dried snack. We are in awed of Granny Abby's active nature. For a supposedly senior feline, this gal really gets around and is quite curious and active. She especially loves to steal plastic straws. She'll even get them out of the trashcan if she sees you put them in there. Granny Abby is still very active. She likes playing fetch, but, once she catches the item, they are HERS...as she doesn't always bring back what you throw. She tends to run off with her prize in her mouth. Her behavior is very much like that of a puppy. We are selectively looking for a quiet home where our lovely girl can be a single cat in the home and spend her days being loved and pampered. To keep Granny Abby healthy, we recommend wet cat food only with lots of gravy and moisture. Timmy is the most handsomest boy in the world, wouldn't you agree?? He's approximately 5 years old and was a former Tom Cat until he was rescued from the streets by a Good Samaritan. He gets along really well with the other cats and dogs in his foster household. He is super easy going and laid back and loves just sitting around watching the world around him. So he's very low maintenance! We think he's just happy to finally have a safe place to lay his head since he was living a life of a stray cat. He gets a little nervous at first around people he doesn't know so it will take a little while to adjust to a new home, but we have confidence that after a few yummy meals he will quickly turn into your new best friend! Timmy is FIV+ so an experienced adopter will need to keep that diagnosis in mind but he is doing really well and is healthy as a horse outside of that.
