Meet Marie Curie! Marie is a gorgeous, sleek, petite Russian Blue mix who is as sweet and social as she is gorgeous! While Marie was found outside, it is clear that she had a home and family at some point. She adores people and soaks up any and all love and attention that she can get. Even in the height of her mama cat days, Marie loved to play and interact with her fosters like she was a kitten herself! Marie is great with kids and people of all ages. Born: May 15, 2021 Marie Curie was found along with her four kittens in Southwest Fort Worth earlier this Spring. She has taken excellent care of her babies and now that they are heading out to their own homes, Marie is ready to find a forever home of her own, too! We’ve had her and her sister since they were kittens due to the cold weather. We haven’t been able to rehome them through friends and family and our landlord won’t allow us to keep them. They are both very cuddly cats and also potty trained.

Meet Andujar Michelle born about February 2020. Andujar Michelle was part of a large rescue of over 35 cats and dogs. Their caregiver was an avid animal lover who sadly suffered from mental illness and ended up taking her own life. It was quickly obvious to us that she poured a lot of love into her pets. We couldn`t let them all go to the shelter so we were able to get them all into foster care!Andujar is a very sweet and quiet boy who wags his tail like a dog and loves to play. His favorite toys are stuffed catnip mice and the tunnel. He enjoys leaving the mice scattered about the house, tearing open the tummies, running through the tunnel with the mice, and leaving them in the water bowl to make catnip tea. He loves to be petted, but is shy at first and needs time to adjust. He likes to be in the room with you and next to you, but not on you. He is not a picky eater, and enjoys dry and wet cat food, not so much treats. He gets along well with other cats, usually being the less dominant cat. He does well around dogs, almost automatically unfazed by his foster’s dog. So, he’s be fine with another friendly pet. He would do well in a house with other cats, but also in a house where he is the only cat, because he usually plays alone with his mice. He enjoys sunbathing on the sun porch. Andujar is also quite the night owl, usually sleeping most of the day, and playing all night. He is litter box trained and very sweet. Meet Luna Del Ray, a beautiful Russian Blue Mix, born approx 2019. Luna was left at a shelter after her owner said she had stopped eating. Her fur was matted, and she had been neglected. After a proper grooming and dental cleaning, she has blossomed into a sweet, confident princess! Luna is now looking for a true forever home! If you are looking for a smart, affectionate, and playful kitty, Luna is your girl! She loves people and is very outgoing. When you get home, she will greet you with her raspy meow, rub on your legs, and then lay right next to you while you watch tv. Luna’s three favorite things, besides people, are catnip toys, cat trees, and drips from the bathtub. She loves being petted and is a great biscuit maker! Luna is excellent at using scratching posts and scratch pads, and her gentle spirit makes her a great fit for families. She would be fine in a home with a calm cat or dog with proper introductions. Although, her dream home would be where she could be the only kitty in your life. Luna is the perfect companion and just wants people to love, that will love her back!
