Izzy is a loving & sweet Russian Blue mix kitty who was living on the streets. We realized he was friendly after trapping him and wanted to give him a second chance. He's friendly and likes other cats.  He's acclimated to a home environment well. Izzy has great litter box habits and a healthy appetite. He's learning to play with toys, so that will be fun project for his new family to take on -- can't go wrong either furry mice or bell balls. ♥&#239&#184&#143 Izzy would do best in a home without young children.  Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval. Timmy is the most handsomest boy in the world, wouldn't you agree?? He's approximately 5 years old and was a former Tom Cat until he was rescued from the streets by a Good Samaritan. He gets along really well with the other cats and dogs in his foster household. He is super easy going and laid back and loves just sitting around watching the world around him. So he's very low maintenance! We think he's just happy to finally have a safe place to lay his head since he was living a life of a stray cat. He gets a little nervous at first around people he doesn't know so it will take a little while to adjust to a new home, but we have confidence that after a few yummy meals he will quickly turn into your new best friend! Timmy is FIV+ so an experienced adopter will need to keep that diagnosis in mind but he is doing really well and is healthy as a horse outside of that. Nelson is a very friendly dark grey cat who needs a forever home as the only cat. He’s super playful and will be your best friend the minute you meet him. Hes been rehomed a few times. His original owner got moved to a military base and couldn't bring him along. Then the second owner couldn't keep him due to his other animals not accepting him. So now we have him (we have 2 other cats originally and they are not accepting him). He really is a loving boy but he would be best as an only child. He is a big snuggler and wants to be loved on all the time.

She exhibits the typical outgoing, social nature of the Russian Blue (mixed) breed. She is very confident and not afraid of anyone. Nothing makes this little lady happier than the sight of a treat. Watch how her huge green eyes light up at the sight of a scrumptious freeze dried snack. We are in awed of Granny Abby's active nature. For a supposedly senior feline, this gal really gets around and is quite curious and active. She especially loves to steal plastic straws. She'll even get them out of the trashcan if she sees you put them in there. Granny Abby is still very active. She likes playing fetch, but, once she catches the item, they are HERS...as she doesn't always bring back what you throw. She tends to run off with her prize in her mouth. Her behavior is very much like that of a puppy. We are selectively looking for a quiet home where our lovely girl can be a single cat in the home and spend her days being loved and pampered. Meet Jerusalem and Haifa! Dynamic brother and sister duo, looking for a loving family! Jerusalem (M) is a handsome silver and white tabby. His sister Haifa (F) is a beautiful blue.
