Meet Andujar Michelle born about February 2020. Andujar Michelle was part of a large rescue of over 35 cats and dogs. Their caregiver was an avid animal lover who sadly suffered from mental illness and ended up taking her own life. It was quickly obvious to us that she poured a lot of love into her pets. We couldn`t let them all go to the shelter so we were able to get them all into foster care!Andujar is a very sweet and quiet boy who wags his tail like a dog and loves to play. His favorite toys are stuffed catnip mice and the tunnel. He enjoys leaving the mice scattered about the house, tearing open the tummies, running through the tunnel with the mice, and leaving them in the water bowl to make catnip tea. He loves to be petted, but is shy at first and needs time to adjust. He likes to be in the room with you and next to you, but not on you. He is not a picky eater, and enjoys dry and wet cat food, not so much treats. He gets along well with other cats, usually being the less dominant cat. He does well around dogs, almost automatically unfazed by his foster’s dog. So, he’s be fine with another friendly pet. He would do well in a house with other cats, but also in a house where he is the only cat, because he usually plays alone with his mice. He enjoys sunbathing on the sun porch. Andujar is also quite the night owl, usually sleeping most of the day, and playing all night. He is litter box trained and very sweet. Introducing Moonflower, a delightful gray and white tuxedo kitten born in January 2024,with a heart as playful as her markings are charming. Named for her serene beauty and gentle nature, Moonflower is a bundle of joy who adores chasing after feather toys and batting at anything that dangles. Her silky fur is adorned with a stylish tuxedo pattern, complete with a tiny white bib and dainty white paws that add to her irresistible appeal. Moonflower came to Saving Hope Rescue after being found with severe eye problems. She has made great improvements since then! She can see well and continues to take medicine to help them improve! She is full of curiosity as she explores her surroundings, always eager for new adventures and cuddle sessions alike. She loves snuggles, rubbing her face with yours, and gentle pets. She has a soft spot for snuggling up on laps and purring contentedly. Meet Jagger! Jagger is a handsome boy born in September 2023. Jagger`s first few months of life was spent in a bathroom with little to no interaction. He needed to learn how to be a cat so we took him in to give him a chance. Jagger is a sweet and loving cat who is curious about everything, especially if it involves food! He has lots of energy and needs daily exercise. He loves wand toys and chasing his foster siblings. Jagger is still learning to respect boundaries and would need another kitty friend that can help keep Jagger in line. He loves to cuddle, will come to you for pets and scratches. He also loves dogs! He would love to have a doggie friend to pal around and play with. Life is not boring with Jagger around, he can be quite entertaining and loves attention! Meet Nemo, the sweetest Russian Blue mix, born in April 2020. Nemo can be a bit shy at first but given time he will become the sweetest little companion. He will be by your side, in your lap, and curled up next to you! He especially loves bedtime snuggles. gives the sweetest head nudges when he wants attention. He also has his independent time, lounging on chairs, window sills, and under the couch.Nemo has fun with a scratching pad, wand toys, and small balls. Meet Carlisle! Carlisle is a gorgeous Russian Blu mix born in approximately May 2024. Carlisle was found outside in a colony of cats who were being TNR`d (Trap, Neuter and, Return). Carlisle showed signs of being friendly so she went to an excellent foster who has socialized them. She is still getting used to the indoor life.Carlisle is shy and still getting used to bigger spaces. She doesn`t like being held or picked up. Carlisile will be best fit in a home with another cat to help her feel safe. Carlisle needs a calm space with someone who is patient to get to know her. She gets along well with other cats, unsure about dogs but with time will likely adjust to them. She is vetted and has excellent litter manners.
