Russian Blue kittens & cats in Granbury, Texas

We’ve had her and her sister since they were kittens due to the cold weather. We haven’t been able to rehome them through friends and family and our landlord won’t allow us to keep them. They are both very cuddly cats and also potty trained.

Meet Marie Curie! Marie is a gorgeous, sleek, petite Russian Blue mix who is as sweet and social as she is gorgeous! While Marie was found outside, it is clear that she had a home and family at some point. She adores people and soaks up any and all love and attention that she can get. Even in the height of her mama cat days, Marie loved to play and interact with her fosters like she was a kitten herself! Marie is great with kids and people of all ages. Born: May 15, 2021 Marie Curie was found along with her four kittens in Southwest Fort Worth earlier this Spring. She has taken excellent care of her babies and now that they are heading out to their own homes, Marie is ready to find a forever home of her own, too! Meet Andujar Michelle born about February 2020. Andujar Michelle was part of a large rescue of over 35 cats and dogs. Their caregiver was an avid animal lover who sadly suffered from mental illness and ended up taking her own life. It was quickly obvious to us that she poured a lot of love into her pets. We couldn`t let them all go to the shelter so we were able to get them all into foster care!Andujar is a very sweet and quiet boy who wags his tail like a dog and loves to play. His favorite toys are stuffed catnip mice and the tunnel. He enjoys leaving the mice scattered about the house, tearing open the tummies, running through the tunnel with the mice, and leaving them in the water bowl to make catnip tea. He loves to be petted, but is shy at first and needs time to adjust. He likes to be in the room with you and next to you, but not on you. He is not a picky eater, and enjoys dry and wet cat food, not so much treats. He gets along well with other cats, usually being the less dominant cat. He does well around dogs, almost automatically unfazed by his foster’s dog. So, he’s be fine with another friendly pet. He would do well in a house with other cats, but also in a house where he is the only cat, because he usually plays alone with his mice. He enjoys sunbathing on the sun porch. Andujar is also quite the night owl, usually sleeping most of the day, and playing all night. He is litter box trained and very sweet. Meet Snippet born February 2022. Boy? Girl? Both? Both! Snippet is definitely an interesting kitty! Snippet had both male and female parts but has been fixed and is referred to as male. After being surrendered to Fort Worth animal control and being posted for rescue for a month, Saving Hope saw Snippet and their journey began. Snips is looking for a forever family that is looking for a special needs cat and wants to give love, attention and care to an overlooked cat!Snips, as foster mom calls them, is a fun loving, quirky kitty. Snips is much like a toddler, very demanding of attention, but shows so much love in return. Loves being held and lives lap time. He was born with a few birth defects, but that does not slow him down one bit! Snippet runs, plays, climbs, and leads a very normal life. He will need routine vet visits to make sure everything is working correctly. Snips has luxating patellas on his back legs, but gets around just fine. He is kennel trained and prefers to eat there. He is on a sensitive food diet and can occasionally have tummy issues but not often. Don`t let Snip`s special needs status scare you. This kitty can hold his own with other cats and dogs and would love some friends to play with. Meet Luna Del Ray, a beautiful Russian Blue Mix, born approx 2019. Luna was left at a shelter after her owner said she had stopped eating. Her fur was matted, and she had been neglected. After a proper grooming and dental cleaning, she has blossomed into a sweet, confident princess! Luna is now looking for a true forever home! If you are looking for a smart, affectionate, and playful kitty, Luna is your girl! She loves people and is very outgoing. When you get home, she will greet you with her raspy meow, rub on your legs, and then lay right next to you while you watch tv. Luna’s three favorite things, besides people, are catnip toys, cat trees, and drips from the bathtub. She loves being petted and is a great biscuit maker! Luna is excellent at using scratching posts and scratch pads, and her gentle spirit makes her a great fit for families. She would be fine in a home with a calm cat or dog with proper introductions. Meet Juniper, a Dilute Tortoiseshell, born in 2012. Her original family moved to Europe and were not going to take her with them, so she is looking for a new home.Juniper is a smaller cat with a lot of personality! Her striking appearance is all thanks to the beautiful gray coat, big fuzzy ears, big feet, and striking eyes. She is very people friendly, dog unfazed but very cat selective so slow proper introductions are a must. Juniper is a total snuggle bug with a lot to say! She loves to eat and will tell you about it so you won`t forget Her ears wiggle when she eats. She is a great supervisor, and loves her naps and lap time. Her giant feet can be heard across the house as she thunks with each step. To top it all o*- she is very concerned with her humans getting cold and will bring you socks, pants, and shirts, yowling proudly to announce her good deed!
