Meet Walter! This 7 year old boy is the sweetest most chill cat ever. He loves laps, belly rubs, cheek scratches, and kisses and he will be your best bud! Walter does have diabetes, but he is not on insulin, he takes an oral medication in his food once per day which one bottle lasts approximately 100 days. He will require ketone testing which is just a litmus strip to see if any ketone bodies are in his urine and occasional blood glucose testing which can be done at home. Meet Mama! This sweet yet shy girl hasn't had an easy life as of late. She had a loving family who rescued her from the streets along with her kitten years ago; however, as the years went by her kitten who is now all grown up has taken to bullying her so badly she can barely eat for fear of letting her guard down and is hiding in one room in her home in an effort to stay hidden from the other cats who have jumped on the "bully Mama" bandwagon. Despite all attempts to improve the situation, the other cats are just not accepting Mama any longer and her quality of life has significantly diminished leading her family to do what's best for her and seek a home without other cats or with submissive and easy-going cats. Mama is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative.
