Introducing Mowgli!This beautiful fluffy grey boy was recently surrendered to us because his owner had to move. He's got fluff for days!! Mowgli is a senior who knows what he likes - he is comfortable hanging out in our office, loves his food, enjoys pets - but doesn't like being roughly handled so we think he would be best with a quiet adopter, maybe not small children. He's a chatty boy too!Mowgli is a senior boy so he applies for our discounted senior rate. He is around 13 years old but in good health. He recently visited our vet who checked him out and cleared him for adoption. He is on a regular diet and has no specific needs other than love, probably some brushing, and a gentle touch. Mowgli is up to date on his vaccines, already neutered, snap tested negative for FIV and FELV, and microchipped! He just needs you to hang out with. Murphy is a handsome guy who has been through so much and ended up being misunderstood and discarded. Murphy MUST BE THE ONLY PET in his forever home. He is so very gentle and kind, he is terrified of anything with four legs! He also asks that his litterbox be kept VERY clean. He prefers not to get his paws dirty! His last request...he must be in an ADULT ONLY home that definitely has a cat loving MAN. While he will be nice to the woman of the house, but he prefers to dote on the man of the house. AL & ED ARE IN THEIR FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE THEY ARE ADOPTED! Al and Ed are very sweet Russian Blue MIX kitties who like to chat with you.  They are both chatty, but they are very cute meows. They do not like to be left alone and need to be adopted together as a BONDED PAIR. They are kid-friendly and thrive on attention.  They will make great family pets. Smoky is a man of mysteries. He is a big boy with an even bigger personality. He is comfortable with other cats/kittens, but prefers his space. He has met the foster family dog and had little interest or concern. He would be wonderful as an only cat/companion animal because he does love attention.  He's very affectionate! He loves to take naps in beams of sun, and doesn't really play that much. A quiet, chill house would be great for this guy. Smoky is FIV+ and had stomatitus. To treat this autoimmune disease, his teeth were removed and he's done much better without them. He's a good eater and loves his friskies.  We estimate his birth year to be 2017. Smoky was abandoned by his "family", who moved and left him behind. He remained in the neighborhood where he returned to his home each night and sat on the porch. We discovered his situation when a neighbor called about a colony of community cats they were feeding. Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm (Smoky is FIV+). They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination.  An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP.
