We got Leia when she was a few weeks old as a rescue. She is a wonderful, sweet, chatty cat. She keeps to herself, then appears to say hi and be pet. Very easy, mild temper. Does not get along even with sweet dogs, she is very afraid, so needs a dog-free home. She is great with our kids, but if kids approach her too quickly and scare her, she will hiss. She loves to lay on your lap at night and be pet. She will allow you to cradle her like a baby and pet her also. We are sad to rehome her, but our son is highly allergic and cannot sit on our couches and is blocked at night and cannnot breathe through his nose. We also are getting a second dog and she will not be happy with this.

Tip 1: It is important to remember that she/he is going to need time to feel comfortable in their new environment, and for you to establish routines (like regular interactions, scheduled feedings, litter box cleanings). TIP 2: Please make sure your home or lease allows pets and that you and others are prepared to welcome a new cat. TIP 3: Have the essentials ready: food and water dishes, cat food, litter and a litter box, space for cozy bedding, carrier and a designated veterinarian for ongoing care and vaccinations.

Smokie is bonded with his sister Trouble. They are both well rounded kitties ready for their forever home! They are being fostered in a cat cafe, so very used to other cats and people. They are a year old. Their total adoption fee is $150 and they are fully vetted. They have been on a raw diet, also getting duck necks to chew on and clean their teeth. They are used to a large outdoor, fenced catio and lots of enrichment. They can be seen at The Cat Cafe at The Happy Beast $10 Entry Fee Hrs: 11am-6pm Mon-Fri 9-5pm Sat 10-4pm Sun ##2277335##
