He is a 5 year old Russian Blue. It breaks my heart to have to re-home him. I adopted him as a bonded pair with his Sister, who he got along with so adorably the first two years I had them. Unfortunately, as happens sometimes as cats get older, a freak accident where she got caught on her bed really scared him and he became aggressive towards her. The problem unfortunately could not be resolved with diffusers, reintroduction method, or medications and he would periodically get in fights with her. He did not do this behavior before his sister got caught on her bed and he got scared. It was recently discovered that Moka's problem was a medical condition that was easily treated. I think he would really thrive with someone who could spend a lot of time with him in a SINGLE cat household in which he is the star of the show. My favorite things about Moka: his continuous affection, in which he follows me from room to room, his happy purrs, especially when he rolls over for a chest rub and drools with happiness. He isn't a lap sitter on his own but he will set next to you and you can put him on your lap for pets and he will fall asleep. He loves to play with wands (chasing, hide-and-seek, jumps in the air). He will do best with a cat-experienced person. Currently he is staying at the Kona Garden at the Humane Society of Silicon Valley but caring for him will give you unbelievable rewards if you can give him a safe, supportive, loving home. Moka is an Indoor Only cat. He will need time to adjust to a new home. Adoption must be in the local San Francisco Bay Area. Moka will do best in a calm home with adults, without children or dogs. Meet Charlie, Charlie is a sweet, affectionate cat who enjoys companionship and being part of the household. He’s litter-box trained, healthy, and comfortable living indoors. During the day he enjoys exploring, lounging, and being near his people. He is a vocal cat and likes to communicate, especially when he wants attention or interaction. Because of this, he would do best in a home that enjoys an expressive cat and where nighttime quiet is not a major concern — such as with someone who works from home, is a heavy sleeper, or enjoys a chatty companion. Due to changes in our household, we’re no longer able to provide the environment that’s best for him. Our goal is to find him a calm, loving home where his personality can be appreciated and he can thrive long-term. Charlie would make a wonderful companion for the right person, and we’re committed to making sure he transitions to a home that’s a great fit for him.

My family and I are moving states and sadly cannot bring our beloved, Quincy. Help me find a loving home for our Quincy cat. Quincy is social but on his own terms. He prowls around but likely wants to be in the same room as people of the house. He is playful! He will play fetch, loves a piece of string or a bow for a gift. Neutered when I adopted him as a kitten. Never experienced any issues medically or with cat litter training. He has been an indoor cat but is always curious when a door is open to the front porch or backyard– he'll venture out but never far. Quincy will find his own nap and hangout spots throughout the house. He loves a cushy pillow or soft blanket to curl up on and nap or just observe. he loves a window too for a view and maybe some sunshine. Details: Male Russian Blue, 10 years old (adopted initially in SLC, UT), no health or diet issues, cuddly and loyal.
