Louie is a very sweet cat. He loves the outdoors, but will agreeably come inside for the night. Louie can be skittish around people he doesnt know, but will become more curious as he feels comfortable. As a kitten, Louie got a hold of a bee and was stung several times inside of his mouth, causing and infection. He now has a "snake tongue", or "fork tongue". This does not affect his eating, and he has a good appetite. Louie has also had most of his teeth removed except for his canines due to gum issues Overall, Louie is very affectionate and gentle.

Grigio was a neighborhood stray I took in while living in that area. He kept coming around and I eventually gave him a place to sleep and eat. Along with getting him spayed and rabies vaccinated. He is a love bug and uses the litter box very well! He likes his time outside and does not go far. He’s a great companion!

Baby Jane came to us when her family moved away. She was a bit shy and standoffish at first, but over time she has become one of the biggest sweethearts. She loves attention and pets, and wants nothing more than to hang out next to you and take naps in the sunshine. She has many friends at the sanctuary, so she would do fine in a home with other cats, and she has quite the playful streak. If you could use a furry sidekick to keep you company, Baby Jane is your girl.

Courtesy Listings Contact: (916) 939-3418 Clooney is “the perfect cat.” He is extremely handsome; quiet; well-behaved; and doesn’t ask for much. He likes to just “hang out”: sit on the sofa or comfy-chair, and watch what’s going on. He gets along with other cats, but doesn’t particularly care for most of them. Clooney likes to just be a cat. He will come and sit with you when he feels like it. Otherwise, he’ll just hang out by himself. It takes him a while to warm up to a person but when he does, he's such a sweet guy. He’s subtle – give him time. Once you get to know him, you’ll love him. He likes dry kibble as much, if not more, than wet food. He is generally given Fancy Feast or Friskies wet food, and has received several different types of dry food and Churros treats. One critical thing to know--he will ONLY use (traditional) unscented clumping litter like “Dr. Elsey’s.” He doesn’t know what to do with pellet litter, or with any of the new fancy types of litter. So long as you just use regular clumping litter there are no problems at all. (And he’s a very tidy cat – he keeps himself clean and well groomed.)
