Story
Hello, Our wonderful Hercules needs a new home. We are about to have our second child and our first child is only 18 months so “2 under 2”. He is a very well behaved pup and has gone through professional training but he has one problem that requires him to have a new hone. He get too excited around our 18 month old and attempts to “herd her”. When she cries he can’t handle it and runs over and knocks her down and start to lick her and pull on her clothes. I want to make this clear, he has never bitten her but his large size has knocked her over. With two children under 2 we simply don’t have the ability to keep him separated from two babies. We have noticed that once kids get to the age of 5/6 they are strong enough to not get knocked over by him and he doesn’t seem to get overly excited around older kids. He loves attention and pets from anyone. He loves other dogs and is very gentle with small dogs as he lives with two small dogs. He doesn’t bark much but he has “guard dog” dna

Story
Milo is a 9 year-old mixed breed dog. He is a good training buddy and highly food motivated. He has taken a number of training classes and knows many cues. On a day to day basis he's an easy dog who sleeps most of the day, while still enjoying walks and hiking. He's very healthy and regularly gets mistaken for a much younger dog. He walks well on leash. Away from the home he is friendly to strangers and non dog reactive. In the home he is overly excited by new people and takes awhile to settle. He loves all people, he just gets worked up at first. He is very anxious about babies and toddlers and needs a home without young children. We are rehoming him because he is extremely anxious around our newborn. Milo would be a good companion for someone looking for a constant companion who enjoys daily cuddles. If you enjoy dog training, he'll train all day with you.

Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereJrue is a sweet and playful 6-month-old Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and energy! Weighing in at 60 pounds, this young boy enjoys being around other dogs, with his high-energy chase instincts and gentle, soft demeanor during play. He's an absolute joy in playgroups, happily engaging with his dog friends and showing off his playful spirit. He is also very affectionate with humans and enjoys pets and attention. Despite his puppy energy, Jrue is a quick learner! He already knows how to "sit" and is a gentle treat-taker, making training sessions a breeze. While he can be a little mouthy (like most puppies), he listens well to commands and is eager to please. With continued positive reinforcement and socialization, he's sure to grow into an amazing companion. Jrue will thrive in a home with an experienced dog owner who can provide the structure, training, and love he needs. He's looking for a family who can keep up with his playful energy and enjoy the process of helping him mature into a well-behaved adult dog. Whether as a solo dog or with appropriately matched dog friends, Jrue is sure to fill your home with laughter and love. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a fun-loving, affectionate puppy, Jrue could be a great match. He recently landed in a foster home and we can't wait to find out more! Story
Aurora was born on 8/25/2021 and she is half doberman/husky. She loves to run, go for walks, and look for lizards hiding in the grass. She knows commands like: sit, down, up, off, paw, reach, touch, paw, and turn. She’s an outdoor dog and sleeps in a cage in my garage with blankets and pillows. She’s well behave when inside the house. The main reason I need to rehome her is due to financial hardship and personal matter (living situation). Aurora enjoys playing in the water in the summer, squeky and treat toys! Aurora is not spayed but up to date with shots and she is chipped. She is very smart and will do great with someone experience with big dogs to provide her more training. Please message if you would like to know more about Aurora❤️
