Please feel free to visit me and my friends during visiting hours Monday through Friday 11am to 5pm and Saturdays 10am to 2pm.You could describe me by a few of these characteristics:Energy level-A quick jog would be fun!Affectionate- Sure, we can snuggle.Strangers- I can warm up to just about anyone.House Manners- I`m a super considerate housemate.Kids- “Absolutely! Mac is a 10 year old, 66 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Yes, Mac is a senior gentleman with a distinguished gray muzzle, but he is still young at heart! Mac loves everyone, including his tiny human sister and his four legged brothers and sisters, and he play chase with one of the resident dogs. He's faster than you would think! He likes to bring his toys to his soft bed for nap time. He loves going on car rides and stopping at Sonic for his favorite doggie treat. Mac likes his routine, so he needs a calm, quiet, low activity home. If you are interested in an amazing dog who is beyond the challenging puppy stage but still a lot of fun, Mac just might be the guy for you! Mac qualifies for our senior adoption fee of $125.00. Lance is a 5 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound mix that came to Humane Tomorrow from a Florida shelter during Hurricane Milton evacuations. Of course, the breed mix is just our best guess. Lance loves running zoomies around the large yard at his foster home, and he is super fast! He also loves playing with toys, wrestling with the resident dogs, and getting belly rubs! He recently attended a school function where he was friendly with everyone and every dog, including a 4 lb dog he decided to pal around with. He has a tendency to jump up when he is excited to see you, and foster mom is working with him to keep "four paws on the floor". We think he will be fine with kids over the age of 6. Summer was born approximately on July 7th 2021. She was found as a stray with open wounds on her legs and feet. Her owners were never found. She spent some time healing at a foster home and she did great. Friendly with people and children. Loved spending time with the family and snuggling and playing with them. She has been at the facility for some time now all healed and working on manners. She is improving her leash training and learning not to jump. She knows sit and understands the command NO. I love doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She has made some friends at the facility. Slow introductions would be recommended. We adopted Ollie about three years ago from Operation Kindness. He weighs about 90-95 lbs. He's very loyal and protective. Ollie is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Ollie is decently trained for certain things (go outside, sit, etc.). We can't take him with us to our new home Once attached to you, he is very loyal, protective, and just a big baby. We haven't really had him around too many other people besides us, so he will need trained properly for that. Due to our work schedules, we also can't provide him the correct exercise he needs. He does have shedding often, so will need brushed frequently. We wish we could take Ollie with us, but we just can't.
