Story
Hello everyone, meet Bella :) I rescued her when I lived across from a kill shelter. She was anonymously taken (by her previous owner) to the shelter at night and tied to a pole, leaving her fate up to the shelter. Bella managed to escape and ran across the road to MY house. She was such a well behaved and trained dog; I was convinced someone was missing her and posted her to FB to find her owner. The shelter contacted me and told me they were under a euthanization notice and to save her life, I should keep her. I did. I kept her to save her life, and she is truly the best-behaved dog I have ever rescued. She sits, stays, rolls over (aka falls down), adores people and animals alike, is great with other dogs, children, and even CATS! Bella is estimated to be 8 years old and appears to be a Black Mouth Cur, but I have not had her DNA tested. She is a wonderful guard dog, but also a nanny dog who takes other animals under her wings. She is a delight to all who meet her!
