Mac is a 10 year old, 66 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Yes, Mac is a senior gentleman with a distinguished gray muzzle, but he is still young at heart! Mac loves everyone, including his tiny human sister and his four legged brothers and sisters, and he play chase with one of the resident dogs. He's faster than you would think! He likes to bring his toys to his soft bed for nap time. He loves going on car rides and stopping at Sonic for his favorite doggie treat. Mac likes his routine, so he needs a calm, quiet, low activity home. If you are interested in an amazing dog who is beyond the challenging puppy stage but still a lot of fun, Mac just might be the guy for you! Mac qualifies for our senior adoption fee of $125.00. We adopted Ollie about three years ago from Operation Kindness. He weighs about 90-95 lbs. He's very loyal and protective. Ollie is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Ollie is decently trained for certain things (go outside, sit, etc.). We can't take him with us to our new home Once attached to you, he is very loyal, protective, and just a big baby. We haven't really had him around too many other people besides us, so he will need trained properly for that. Due to our work schedules, we also can't provide him the correct exercise he needs. He does have shedding often, so will need brushed frequently. We wish we could take Ollie with us, but we just can't.

Summer was born approximately on July 7th 2021. She was found as a stray with open wounds on her legs and feet. Her owners were never found. She spent some time healing at a foster home and she did great. Friendly with people and children. Loved spending time with the family and snuggling and playing with them. She has been at the facility for some time now all healed and working on manners. She is improving her leash training and learning not to jump. She knows sit and understands the command NO. I love doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She has made some friends at the facility. Slow introductions would be recommended. Dakota is a gorgeous black-mouth cur/boxer mix, around 5 years old and was owner surrendered in August 2024 due to family issues and no fault of Dakota’s. Sadly, she had no place to go except the shelter, so Bridget’s Pet Resort stepped up to foster her. However, after three months in boarding, Dakota is not thriving. She is a big people dog and enjoys cuddles. She urgently needs a home with someone to love her and provide her with a loving home. Dakota is very well behaved and at five years old, she is in the prime of her life. She is past the puppy stage and perfect for someone who does not want to go through training. Dakota wants to please people and is totally potty and kennel trained. She knows all basic commands and will make a fantastic loving pet for anyone lucky enough to get her.
